Skeptical of the new taillights. Haven't seen in person. Worried KIA will take the same approach they did for the Optima after 13'. Worse and worse taillights, headlights every model update.

I think the 2022 stinger will come with the second generation in US here in Canada we get the Left over year model from US so we should see these tails light in 2023 glade I got mine so I'm 2 years in advance :p

They do look better in person IMO. I really like the details in the blinkers.

Hi everyone,
I install the second gen tailllights on my stinger and now you don't need the famous resistor with it. They come with it, it's a 4 wire instead of 3 wire see photo but the hardest part for the installation is to separate your original paint x2 cover from the original part.
The flasher are sequence. What I did, I cut the 2 pins (guide pins) that are useless on the main center bar so it leaves you to drill only 3 holds on each side. If your going for it my best advice it's to take your time specially to remove your original cover, I'm not sure if you could order the 2 end led lights with your stinger color that would save you lots of time.
Hey I’m looking to pick these up and was wondering how hard the install was and if u know any good shops that could do the install in the gta or if you’d be willing to lend a hand?

Are these plug and play? It mentions load resistors, aren't our factory turn signals already led? So we shouldn't have to worry about the hyper flashing, correct? Btw, I have a 2020 model.
I'm not 100% sure on the 2020 but on my 2021 it was plug and play

Such a hard decision. The new lights have a more luxurious appearance . However, the original ones have a more unique and definitive look.

Glad I bought a 2022... no legacy issues to deal with, I love the car and its lights all round, as it is.

Who cares what they look like........ How well do they work at night is the big question. I'd give the ones on the 22 gtline ~7/10 score. And that's after adjusting them. More like 5/10 as delivered.
