Hi everyone,
I install the second gen tailllights on my stinger and now you don't need the famous resistor with it. They come with it, it's a 4 wire instead of 3 wire see photo but the hardest part for the installation is to separate your original paint x2 cover from the original part.
The flasher are sequence. What I did, I cut the 2 pins (guide pins) that are useless on the main center bar so it leaves you to drill only 3 holds on each side. If your going for it my best advice it's to take your time specially to remove your original cover, I'm not sure if you could order the 2 end led lights with your stinger color that would save you lots of time.

Nice downgrade
Are you a child? Do you really need to go to every thread about these taillights and comment the same exact thing? Grow up.

They look great! I've seen several cars here in South Korea that have done the conversion (you can tell because they still have the smaller exhaust tips...unless they swapped diffusers onto their 2021 ).

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Valuable information for anyone looking to do this swap. The new lights are starting to grow on me.
If your gonna go for it and need advice let me know will do the best to help you

I’m familiar with swapping the turn signal lights and know how difficult it is to remove those panel covers. Broke a clip on each side while I swapped mine. Is the middle light bar a straight plug and play swap? Or do you need to do some rewiring? And just out of curiosity, what is the new taillight set going for?

You also need to consider that the 2.5T have the new tail lights but « old » diffuser so you might be confusing some that are actual refreshed 2021 models. I am still sure some are also doing the swap though... look for no fake hood air scoop and new reflector led headlights to be sure!

For the middle bar yes it's plug and play but!! You need to cut the 2 plastic pins on each end if not you will need to drill more holes that are useless because the guide pins (plastic) will not use his purposes. One more thing in the bottom of your bar you have several notch or small guide bar that you will need to sad they don't match the original middle light bar. What I did I put a 1/4 3M double side tape on the sleeve that site on your hatchback sleeve but I used only one side of the adhesive tape I didn't not remove the side that site on your bar. Sound complicated but it's not if you have time to spare.
The cost $1300.00 USD for the 3 pieces Korean #92403 J5500

Gotcha! Some slight modifications required. Are you enjoying the new look? Funny that we can’t even see the rear of our cars when we’re driving to enjoy the new parts.

Not bad!

Yes in deed wen the wife take the car at night I peek out to see the lights

You are right, I forgot about the 2.5.

Yes, I've seen several Korean blog posts of putting new taillights or the new diffuser on older models. Its going to be harder to identify the gen/trim on the road now :)

So it's really hard to remove those pieces over the tail lights, why so? Reason I ask is that I thought about swapping these in.

Pretty expensive for just a turn signal but I feel that it matches the look of the front turn signals better. But it says you have to re-use that part over the tails. I'm pretty good at breaking things unfortunately, would hate to F it up.

That’s exactly what I swapped for. Those should’ve been the rear turn signals but Canada/US got some neutered ones where the “webbing” piece is white/clear so our turn signal looks like one massive yellow blinker.

The plastic clips are in hard to reach places so you need to use something narrow and thin to press down - and you gotta press down on all the clips at the same time (think there were 6) to release the hold. Frustration will takeover and you’ll end up using force like I did. But for the achieved look, it was worth it.

Yeah I was wondering when I 1st saw these cuz our tails have the exact same pattern in there. Good to know about the install. Will have to see what's more important getting a set of winter rims for snow tires or..........turn signals lol.

I broke some myself and I used loctite glue that work very good or it could be any fast plastics cure glue

Are these plug and play? It mentions load resistors, aren't our factory turn signals already led? So we shouldn't have to worry about the hyper flashing, correct? Btw, I have a 2020 model.
