I drove my stinger for a couple hours yesterday, and it was pretty uncomfortable for two reasons. The main issue is the seats are designed for shorter people (as is the roof height). My shoulders are against the head rest. I'll probably just find some custom seats that sit lower in the vehicle, as I prefer to sit upright, rather than reclined--which I have to do in the Stinger.
I also found the seats to be quite warm. I wonder if this is due to the seat skin or the the stuffing in the seat. My previous car was a Saab, and the pleather seats were very comfortable and did not get hot (I regularly drove 8+ hour stretches in it). I never understood why people didn't like long drives until driving the Stinger for a couple hours. I'd say if you have a longer torso, unless you're replacing the seats, the car is probably not good for long drives.
I became interested in Kia when I tried their Forte5 at an autoshow a couple years ago. I can't fit in Audi's or most non-American cars, and was thinking that when a more powerful Forte5 came out, I'd buy that. I was told the Stinger had as much headroom as a Forte5, but it's as short as a Audi. Maybe the seats in the Forte5 are the difference, and could be drop-in replacements for the Stinger.
