Red GT2 - Sad day :(

Gonna go out on a limb and say the insurance company will repair that car, not total it. Most insurors nowadays won't total until the damage exceeds 75% of the value of the car, and in this case it would have to be a good $20-30k in damage. Looks like most of that damage is forward of the A-pillars, and a good shop can put it back like it was for a lot less than that.
You are vastly under estimating the cost of airbags!!! Try $17k for a deer stike in which airbags went off in a 4Runner damaging only the bumper

See if this works
Wow, what was the SUV driver thinking/doing?
It looks like a AU/UK driver forgot where they were & made a right hand turn from “our” left hand lane going in that direction.
Shame it killed a Stinger, but at least you came out of it unharmed & got a new replacement.

This just emphasizes the importance of having a dash cam. I can see the driver of that SUV try to lie or make something up to the police report. The one who does the hitting is usually pointed to be at fault.

People will lie. But evidence proves the point. Even without a dashcam, that SUV was in no way where it was supposed to be. The Stinger was in the right hand lane, furthest possible distance away from contact, and the SUV got broadsided pointing the wrong direction: the "ran a red light" position: that's the only other possible explanation. What, is the SUV driver going to pretend that they were turning left from the opposite left turn lane? Well, then, they were conducting a left turn without due consideration (turning without waiting for oncoming traffic to pass through). The dashcam simply cements it without possible argument/lying.

Holy crap!!! Moron delux!!!!

I saw something like this, just last week, only avoided by defensive driving on the part of everyone else in the vicinity. Picture two side-by-side left turn lanes, heavy traffic turning left in both, and the OUTSIDE idiot in front swings all the way across the inside left turn lane and does a "U" turn. If the inside driver in front had not stopped s/he would have T-boned the U-turner. A slow speed accident, to be sure, but still, would have been ruined cars all around.

Thanks for posting this. I said to my wife: "I don't know if I want to watch this one." But I did anyway, half a dozen times. Unfreakingbelievable. I hope that driver got the entire book thrown at them for that stunt.

Had the same thing happen to me a few weeks ago (At that weird 'u turns only' intersection where Hill Field meets I-15 in Layton, if you're familiar with it), had to slam on my brakes. Some people, geez.

Glad the OP was clearly not at fault though. Having the footage to prove it is always a relief... I've got that same dashcam, I just need to install it. Lol.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
