Hello everyone, I joined your forum to ask you all some questions. I am in the market to buy a new car and was going to buy the Infiniti Q70L before coming across the Stinger. However, I’m not sure I want to do that now as I have been reading several comments about so many issues that KIA / dealers aren’t properly responding to. (I.e., spark plus fouling/cracking, rear hatch rattling, harsh down shifting, rear view mirrors not fully opening/closing, trip odometers resetting). I have owned Infiniti and Lexus, and for the most part have been treated like I matter and I am not hearing the same from KIA. What I am not certain of is the percentage of folks experiencing these issues and What were the root causes of these issues. Can you all shed some light on this?
Infinity, are you insane? Nissan is about to disappear as a car maker. Are you sure you want to be stuck with an expensive Nissan sporting 20 year old tech that no dealer is going to touch when Nissan finally kicks the bucket?
As for Lexus, they are also on their last legs, last time I looked. I think they are not even selling new Lexus in oz anymore. Only second hand ones.

I just bought a new stinger last weekend. I had it narrowed down between 3 cars the stinger, charger scatpack, and a bmw m340i. I test drove all 3 around the same week out of all the bmw was probably the best but at close to $60k I expected that, the charger was decent probably had the best performance out of the bunch stock but what drove me to the stinger was it’s a all around great car. The price, performance, and looks made it pretty easy for me to choose the stinger. So far I’m 170 miles in no issues. I’m not sure if Kia has resolved a lot of these issues for the 2020 model but everything you mentioned I have not experienced so far. I would strongly consider staying away from Infiniti if you plan on getting rid of the car in 2-3 years my sister in law lost almost $30k in value in her 2018 qx80 paid almost $80k now it’s worth $45-50 trade in.

How has 2020 Stinger improved as compared to 2018 model?

How has 2020 Stinger improved as compared to 2018 model?
Perhaps they've fixed the sunroof rattle and stabilised the rear "Waggle" under acceleration? You'd hope.

How has 2020 Stinger improved as compared to 2018 model?
Didn't they omit 2 of the 6 trim levels making all stingers premium as a ''base'' line?
