FYI even the 2.0 Premium has it too.
Has anyone else had this issue? When putting the car in reverse the mirrors won't tilt downward anymore. I made sure to have the mirrors set to auto and it know its working because they retract when I lock the car.
I also wish it was on a separate button, but oh well.I drove my Sorento for years not knowing it had this feature, as I left the L/R switch in the center - isn't that the point, to prevent you from accidentally adjusting a mirror? Requiring it to be in the L or R is counterintuitive!
IIRC, mine it set to center and it tilts down in reverse. It's not the switch for folding the mirrors in when locked or when you want them just folded in. It's the switch used for adjusting your mirrors. Left lets you adjust the left mirror and right lets you adjust the right mirror. Centered does not allow adjustment. If the switch is either left or right, the mirrors will tilt down when in reverse. When centered they will not tilt down in reverse.
That’s for the auto fold at lockIIRC, mine it set to center and it tilts down in reverse.
Gd people.I must have accidentally bumped my switch this morning or something because for the first time ever my mirrors did this and I was so happy because it makes it so much easier to park correctly on the little pad in my garage, and to back into spots with a curb. I had no idea the car even had this feature.
Gd people.

Does anyone notice that their side mirrors fold in at different speeds after locking the car? This isnt a major issue but its bothersome seeing it tucks in on an out of sync manner.
do you have the mirror switch on the left side clicked , they only work when you have the left side engaged
Thanks! Now it works!do you have the mirror switch on the left side clicked , they only work when you have the left side engaged
