Real IAT Mod Kia stinger gt 3.3t

Do you think it will be possible for Terry to just reprogram the JB4 via update to use the other sensor rather than relooming?
No, because it's not a JB4 thing, it's a stock ECU thing. Temps are still used by the ECU for its calculations, and the JB4 is built to intercept the pressure sensor - not the temp sensor.

I should note for anyone using JB4, some of y’all are overthinking the hell out of this. The IAT harness that you’re getting here is essentially just a pair of extension cords that plug into the existing OEM harness locations. There shouldn’t be any need for relooming anything since the existing factory harness hasn’t moved and you can still plug in-line to the new harness.

My price for the mod is 100$ (if you live in the United States)

Around 120$ for those outside the United States due to shipping prices

Is there a way to contact you through email? This is my first post, and I'm not sure how to direct message people. Im interested in buying your harness.

Any actual dyno before/after?

Any actual dyno before/after?
Not at this time. I will be asking the people that have received the harness to post a review.

Draggy results are the next best thing to a dyno. These are mine. Consider that I’m only running oem boost levels (12.3-13psi).

Can agree that Dragy results are absolutely nowhere close to the same thing as back to back dyno runs with/without the item being tested.
Put it on the Dyno and show results. If you're actually onto something then the time and effort will be worth it.

Phucking dynos, if you have spent any length of time tuning and modifying cars you would realise how wrong your statement is.

Dynos can be manipulated and always will be...

I will take the dragy results under advisement well before a bloody dyno sheet.

Seasoned dyno warrior wanted to be No1 at all costs customer here !!

Peace.

Dragy results are more indicative of real world performance. Outside of possibly being manipulated, Dyno runs are in a controlled environment.

My Stinger when it only had 284rwkw and stock exh was always quicker in a street run side by side than other stingers with 320+rwkw

Edit: I'm talking my 16-18psi Unichip tune v JB4 that supposedly make 21psi and Higher even with stock dump pipes and intercooler?

Then I bought a Dragy and destroyed a set of Michelin tyres and so far I have over 30 dyno pulls on this car at 3 different workshops.

Different results each time and I really wanted to bolt it onto a hub dyno for a hero number, but mph at the drag strip is the ultimate HP decider.

The last dyno run I did where I finally made 321rwkw with my obnoxious exh system, that afternoon my Dragy said I was 3/10s slower than when I had my last tune adjustment
@ 306rwkw and stock bimodal system with just dump pipes and Hi flow cats!

After the latest Sensational News of one making 633hp at the hubs on a hub dyno down here I have decided to never go on a dyno again...

Someone will always be faster /quicker /make more powaaahh.

Anyone can do whatever it takes to present fake figures for internet stardom, I have worked in a workshop that had to fudge figures because the parts a customer fitted that cost $1000's made less power than the stock items.

Meh Horsepower costs money... so how Fast do you wanna go??

Peace...

Ok, then show me 5 runs of you running EXACTLY 4.01 second 0-60 as-is and then show 5 runs of you running EXACTLY 3.90 (or whatever better times) with new part installed

No one owes you anything. If you aren’t interested buying the harness without dyno results. Don’t Buy It.

Until I have dyno results Just Don’t Buy It.

Since everyone else has already stated the obvious, I'm gonna add one final piece here:
It's a $100 (shipped) harness designed to allow OEM sensors to switch OEM positions. This isn't some kind of snake oil bull$hit from eBay.
I've been running this now for a week and my opinion has not changed. This is how the car should have been setup from the factory. Period.

You guys don't know boat's... I'm gonna fit 2 of these bad boys and blow up the internet!

Might even fit another 4 to my tailpipes and triple my Horsepowers

just plugged mine in this morning. My engine is bone stock save for the air scoops, which I'd hardly consider a mod. I didn't do back to back since I prefer to work on cold engines. I do feel more low end torque around 2k, and IAT never went higher than 20 deg above the ambient 72 degrees no matter how long I sat in traffic. I routed the wire loom under the intake manifold for a stealthier install.

I have discovered that if you move this bolt and swap it with another bolt there is an instant 10HP gain according to my butt dyno. Send me $100 and I'll show you which bolt to swap it with.

How well does the harness hide mate got a pic of it fitted please ?
I was trying to hide my wires as much as possible hence I never went with a JB4 in the first place.

PM sent as well
