So @AWDGT2 talk to me about launch control ... I know how to engage it, but when do your put your foot down based on the tree?

What works for me is to stage... first yellow I floor it...third yellow I slip off the brake. That usually puts me at a .3 ish reaction time. That works well with no brake snip, and the weak snip. If you put the car in beast mode, that changes a little bit because it builds boost much faster and you have to be careful or the throttle will shut. That has happened to me more times than I had good launches so I now do just the weak snip. My best in Beast was a 1.61 and weak snip was 1.7. I'm OK with the 1.7 because it's more dependable and predictable.

Thanks. Exactly what I was wondering. I've never been to a professional drag strip but it makes sense that launch control would more or less match the count on the tree. I assume launching early results in a forfeit.
