Reminder, Rockingham is having another Test and Tune Sat the 29th. I will be there and I'd love to see a few other modded Stingers hang out. They run from 6pm to 11pm and the gates open up at 4pm $25 gets you all the runs you can squeeze in. Way cheaper than a dyno and you get real world metrix to go off of. I hope to see some of you there.

Are they any pre-reqs? Like a waiver? Helmet required?

None, I've gone the last 3 Test and Tunes. Pull up to the kiosk and sign your name, you get a wrist band and a single piece of paper with car info. After you fill it out, give it to the gentleman as you pull in for your first run and he paints a number on your car and that's it.

The interesting part regarding the helmet is that on their website they say if you run faster than a 14.0 you should be wearing a helmet but they are pretty relaxed on all of that.

You are correct. They are referring to santioned events, not test and tune. When I called early summer about the rules, I specifically told them I was in a 4 door kia that will probably run 12's and he kind of laughed. "No need for a helmet"

It only goes on the top corner of the windshield and the rear driver side window so shouldn't have any issues.

I think I actually might meet you there. I have a RWD car so traction is my biggest issue. I have wanted to try it on a track for quite awhile.

REMINDER!!! This is a huge weekend at Rockingham! First, Saturday there is Roll racing, yes! Right after the Roll racing a test and tune starts from 1-6pm. This is just a warm up for the "Import Face Off" I registered and I'm racing in the 11.5" category. In addition, they will have vendors, live music, burnout contest, Food, Car Limbo contest, Food ect. I hope to see you all there!

Reminder!!! There is another test and tune this Saturday. They are running winter hours so gates open up at 1000. Weather is supposed to be cool, 60's!! That's at least a 10th off your times when it's been in the 80's. I hope to see some of you there!!!

I will be there tomorrow for the Test and Tune with my essentially Stock RWD Stinger. Are you shooting for a specific number this time? 11.5 sure would be cool to see.
