Raleigh Area Roll Call

Since there is a surge in Kia Stinger sightings around Raleigh lately, now seems like a good time to take roll call. Any fellow Stinger pilots out there in Apex, Cary, Durham, Fuquay, Garner, Holly Springs, Morrisville, Raleigh, Wake Forest or the greater Triangle area want to raise their hands? Might be fun to organize a #kdmcruise in the area.

Looks like they went glossy black. I decided on Satin Black for my wheels. They have been beat up though as I got them done nearly a year ago. Either I'm going to bite the bullet and have them redone, just do a touch up or throw down a huge amount and get some nice wheels. I have been wanting to go up to 20's. I think a bronze wheel will look great on the blue stinger.

I find bronze wheels very eye catching. Not a match for my paint, but they look great on both black and white Stingers. I'm sure they'd look good on the blue ...

Panthera and sad to say no pics on this phone but I’m driving it today. Was one of the first sold by University Durham I believe.
I only drive it a few times per month.

Welcome! There has definitely been a fresh influx. I saw two other Ceramic Silver GTs in Fuquay recently and a yellow Stinger back in February! And just yesterday was behind a red Stinger here in Holly Springs. We're turning into Stinger Central.

Thanks! Yeah, I want to say that I've seen nearly a dozen by now in and around this area. I regularly come across a yellow one, a silver and a white one. I want to say I may have even crossed paths with you a few months back on 401 while I was in my pickup. It was ceramic colored with an aftermarket exhaust.

Because this is a region specific area, I invite any other Stinger owners to come to the Rockingham 1/4 track during test and tune nights. It's an absolute blast and $25 gets you as many runs as you can squeeze in. I got 4 in last weekend, one on each MAP from 1-4 using the JB4. I met a few cool guys from Raliegh there that were driving some fast BMW's, I could of used some backup! LOL

My Stinger isn't seeing many miles these days either. The dealer is BEGGING me to come in for service but it's going to take me forever to put 2,000 more miles on it.

I'm driving more than I'd expected during this crap though.

I ended up doing my first oil change at 5k, it was fun pulling it all apart, sorta. Added a Futomo valve for next time. Way harder to get hold of a oil filter than I expected, ended up with a Napa gold Wix on order. Seems there are a lot more Stingers around lately.
