Hello All,
I am just creating this thread to serve as a placeholder until the real fun starts.
I had a RaceChip GTS on my Hyundai Elantra Sport 1.6T. I sent it back to RaceChip to be reprogrammed, although I suspect they will replace it, for use in my 3.3TT (RWD). The reason I suspect they will replace it is that the Elantra GTS used only two t-harnesses while the 3.3TT uses three.
FedEx estimates delivery to Germany on Monday 5/20. RaceChip is pretty good with turnaround time, so I figure I will starting my dyno sessions on 5/30 ensures I will have everything I need.
By Friday 5/31, I will update this post with the following:
I'll get temperatures on the day of the dyno session, but all pulls will be done using a Dyno Dynamics dynamometer. All numbers will be uncorrected. Fuel will be 93 octane top-tier, either Costco or BP.
Typically, I've just gone all willy nilly with mods and dyno it at the end, but I never got a baseline to know if the mods made any difference.
I'm trying to do this the right way this time but staring at the Stillen intake box on the floor right now knowing I want to install it is killing me.
