3.3TT Quicksilver Exhaust Systems

I don't like the way it looks with the gaps at all (quite disappointed actually) - I'll be in the "modification" camp...
What are you thinking? cut them off short and keep the factory ones?
Too bad they didn't use oval tubes.... or leave it short so we can keep the factory ones without cutting :(

Im with @RedCal as well. I appreciate the extra effort they made, but the gap was the first thing I saw in the pics and is where my eyes are drawn everytime I look. They just need to be a tiny bit bigger to help fill it out. I guess we need to know the diameter first so we can look at options.

So we are gonna be obligated to buy tips?

Youll have to cut the QuickSilver pipes back so the the stock tips can stay.
Ahh I see hopefully the exhaust isn't to wide that it won't align with stock tips

Just listened to the new video. First time I can say this, it sounds fantastic, I wasnt hearing what everyone loved about the previous videos but this one really turned it around to me. I was worried this time and money would be wasted but QuickSilver seems like they came through. Need to know if that was stock secondaries or the QuickSilver one.

That sounds f ing awesome! I don’t like the look of their muffler through the diffuser though. I would cut them short and run the stock tips if it doesn’t affect that note.

Sound is great. Tip options...hmmmmm....

Wow, just like you, I was never interested in this exhaust from the prior videos. But this video really put me over the edge in wanting it. If you look at the video description in vimeo, it says it includes the Silenced Secondaries. Does anyone know if the silenced secondaries make the car louder or quieterin comparison to just the catback?

If it doesn't make it louder, I may hold off on it since it is almost the same price as the catback itself...

If I were to guess the secondaries would quiet it down a little bit and maybe add more of a deep tone.

Yea, that secondary price is unfortunate. There would have to be a fair difference with versus without to make me get that.

So here is an update, there is plenty of new information on the FB groups pages and so forth, but here it is for you guys . So the R&D is complete and the owner of the test vehicle is very happy, and it is back home. While it was there, a member of the FB group decided to go have a looksee and hear it in person. His name is Hugh ,and he has posted very favorable results on the sound, within two minutes of being in the test car, he was sold. Hugh stated that , "I'll buy it, whatever set up is on this car, I will buy it." So after a mix of driving styles and roads, he proclaimed that it was the best he had ever heard, and he is familiar with other offerings, and recently also had driven one equipped with Borla. They have over 200 man hours into the design and sound of this new system. The owner of the test car for the FIRST and previous system, had independent dynos tests run and showed significant gains over the stock system and quite honestly, shocked all involved. Ollie states that he isn't sure how (optimistic) the dyno was, but they have no connection to the company that was tuning the car. We will be introducing my current system onto one of the fastest Stingers in the world, to see what gains over his current setup, if any, can be had with the QS. This will be done to help confirm that there are big gains with this system .Videos are uploaded on their website, as well as new photos. They are revisiting if they have any wiggle room on their material pricing to see if the round, rolled tips can be included or are going to be a separate option. If you go the route of the silenced secondaries, there can be a group buy for discounted pricing again, just not as steep as before.

Didn't even watch the video but QS mids for sure. Of your doing the system then might as well do the entire package.

I would be very happy if the tips they show are a separate bolt on item... a shorter rough end would let us keep the stock tips. (I wouldn't buy the rolled ones they show - looks a cheap factory exhaust IMHO)

It's a little deeper than my setup and I have yet to hear a Hhhhhhhh tone, so that's a big positive. But no gurgles and that is disappointing. Maybe it does gurgle, but only in a certain speed.
