3.3TT Quicksilver Exhaust Systems

Still ain’t got the intakes.

Awd pipes are jigged and will be uploaded to the store shortly.
The frequency they are looking for, is the trickiest balancing act in their 45 year history. The bass notes they produce are off the scale, and they have been perfecting it over the last week..
They have a revised Helmhotlz chamber, internal design, a tweak to the bullet central resonator and the have most certainly eliminated almost any drone that might be present.
The Supersport that will be in production is approx 3% louder than the development videos we have seen and heard, classy, aggressive, but not obnoxious.
Proper video should be done shortly and the ball is almost in the hoop!
All 4 tailpipes are 100% operational

Agree with AJG. And will it fit into OEM. With mail the way it is currently, I’d hate to not install it, or not have it installed perfectly the first time due to a lack of tips.

Stay tuned about this, we may have options available, and if we do, I think everyone will be happy.

@twn2rbo, since you have a relationship with QuickSilver I was hoping you could get some details for us on the AWD secondaries. I got a email reply stating I could order the AWD pipes now by purchasing the RWD pipes and making a note that I want AWD. That price though without the discount is pretty hefty compared to Ark, at least in the states. Would QuickSilver share any details about what would make the extra cost worth it?

On their end, the silenced midpipes are designed to go hand in hand with the catback they produce, it complements the sound very well, and tames it down just a tad. With most in our group running secondary cat deletes, the catback will be noticeably louder. As far as the cost, I will find out if the discount code is still valid for the pipes, which would make it 1/2 of the price shown on their website.

I tried it at checkout and it was not, if they renewed it then I would not hesitate.

Same for me with AWD.
I was interested way back and almost ordered a set to weld up custom tabs myself.

As of now, the AWD pipes and RWD pipes are fixed at same price. Prior discount helped move existing stock, and is no longer valid. That being said, if there is enough interest for a group buy for the AWD pipes, they will offer a discount depending on number interested. 10 buyers minimum for discount, 20 will get more, etc. To be up front, there will not be as heavy a discount as before. The margin isn't there anymore, but they are willing to do group buy type of deal again. If people want to go that route, let me know and I will see how many we can get for the buy, and what discount would be

is it better to get pipes by the company that builds the exhaust system? I ordered a set of high performance mid and down pipes which are being built for me now.

It doesn't matter, that's a preference. Quicksilver has silenced mid pipes so they should be quieter than most of the other offerings.

Odds are I'll skip the secondaries then. Wait to see how the exhaust sounds stock and if I want louder get the arks unless I find the obx somewhere, unless I'm really surprised by the exhaust I doubt I'll need to make it quieter.

After the dollar conversion we are talking 744 before shipping, even with free shipping its not worth it for what it is to me. Thanks for talking to them though @twn2rbo

Would love to hear how the install goes for you. Are you diying it or shop?

I have one of the original beta systems they were clearing out back in March; I tried doing it myself but I wasn't aware they don't include bolts, nuts or gaskets for the flanges so I had a shop do it.

So be aware if you're self installing, you will need to purchase those part's separately. Should be cheap.

Secondaries I definitely wouldn't attempt myself but the catback is doable as long as you can get the car off the ground at least a foot if not more.

Just out of curiosity, why wouldn't you attempt the secondaries yourself?
