I just spoke with Paul, and he confirmed the issues with the site. There are conflicting items on the page. They also use Spotify, and that is where we are seeing the FREEUSA code pop up from. They are working to correct this, but also have noted on the invoice about shipping. I am trying to sort out different shipping options for them, with 2 day being the norm, but at the cost to customer. With possible other options and pricing dependent on length of shipping time. This is still up in the air right now, as I am throwing them plenty of ideas to toss around and save us money, and gain them customers also. I am also trying to get a set of the boxed Supersport mufflers for "BETA" testing, that I am willing to pay for up front, so that everyone who is first interested in hearing, can do so. I trust them to make the sound even better, so I am going in blind. I asked if they have anything similar to compare to, so those interested can make their decision if they hear it first.
Also in discussion will be special pricing for AWD silenced pipes when available, for forum members only. This would be exclusive pricing for forum members or Stinger group members. Everyone else would be at a different price point.This would be a "thank you" for helping launch their product in North America.
I guess since we are the first to have this product in North America, we were offered this "promotional" pricing, and they have honored that same discounting for the entire new system, sans the shipping. So here is what's up. Spoke in length with the owner of Quicksilver about the shipping options and possible longer shipping times and pricing. They have an excellent arrangement with Fedex that allows them to ship to the US those parcels at that price, when the parcel is larger (which our's may be) they eat the difference from the $100 GBP, and this is their fastest service. Their deal with FedEx does not apply to their lower services, so in practice, it would be more expensive.
Once they are closer to the 20, not necessarily at the 20, they will start the process to get us our systems.
I do feel that they are doing their best to accommodate us, and being how we negotiated their price back down, the price is so low, that they simply cannot afford to spring for the delivery cost. Trust me, I did try. And I am happy with that. I have expressed that we want this system to be worth every penny and final fitment to be spot on, they agree.
