Pulled the trigger...

Does this vehicle have oil consumption.
no. in over 5 years of driving stingers I have never added even one quart or any amount to the oil and the oil level is always up. kia started doing full synthetic in january last year.

For doing oil changes I have been using these: 67
Expensive? Yes, but they lift the car higher than most inexpensive ramps. Also given the "gritty" surface they don't slide around.

perfect, my Audi was prone to oil consumption, so I'm glad to hear this platform doesn't do that.

I have ramps as well! beats jacking the car up. but if I were to lower this vehicle. jacks it is LOL

It cooks it though, these engines run HOT.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
what brand are you considering? I saw a Mishimoto direct fit, for the PVC side, Are 2 necessary?
This kit here.

my priority is to have the vehicle running well and smoothly since I drive roughly 40miles a day, to and from work.
I'd say to just drive the car stock for awhile and then determine whether you'd like to upgrade anything.

I bought my 2022 GT2 AWD brand new Nov 2021, and I find no reason to change anything except the front brake pads.

Now with that said, I do own four P-cars which fulfill sport car duty, thus, I'm more than happy to use the Stinger as the pure GT car it is, and in that role no mods are needed. Great mid-range passing power, excellent handling, brakes, and very comfortable.

Now if the Stinger were my only car, I can see the allure to mod it. But as my DD no mods are required.

Honestly, I have been enjoying it as is, I was given a 60K, 4yr warranty on top of this purchase. So far, my main concern is installing an oil catch can and a nice tint, lol. I'll be doing an oil change soon in a week or so. this vehicle takes 7QT of 5w-30 correct?

7.3 quarts.

Another thing is that this car is an absolute monster in the mountains. Its acceleration from 70 to 100 mph is just incredible helping you squit thru traffic to get past those frikken trucks before they can swing-out and take up both the left and right lanes for miles while attempting to pass the other well under the speed limit while going up a long grade. Not a fan of truckers who pull that crap.

So again, the Stinger is very athletic, and a near-perfect GT bone stock.

I agree , I live in NC , and the ability to avoid these truckers at a comfortable pace, safe manner of course, it handles so well. I'm glad I have the AWD , makes it even easier. There will be no Mexico for me in this car, those days are gone. To enjoy and appreciate the build quality. Its near perfect like you said.

Question : has anyone updated the navigation and the infotainment yet? I have a USB drive laying around and curious if I am able to update it.

Just use the SD card that's in the head unit behind the little panel. You'll need to update the nav data anyway and using a USB stick won't do that.

Purchase a 32GB SD drive , format to Fat32 and download on the drive, start up vehicle , settings and navigate to update. Let it idle and boom done?

I really want remote start of this vehicle but doesn't seem to have it. I'm not sure.

Don't purchase a new SD card - just overwrite the one that's already in the dash.

Well perfect hahaah. I didn't realize there's already in there ! Dumb question , how do I open it

Good car choice and price. About to sell mine because I need a new project. Not much more I could reasonably do to it.
