I get compliments every time I drive and the coolest thing is that it’s from all different types of admirers. I had an old man in a MB SL63 give me a thumbs up and asked me if it was a new MaseratiThe Stinger is an attention grabber, there is no question about that. Question is, how often do you get comments, thumbs up, or notice people just staring at the car in awe?Let's vote and share our stories!

That’s awesome! I had a guy in his late 60s ask me how I liked the Stinger (he actually knew what it was). He was driving a Land Rover, said he has owned about a dozen BMWs, and that if he was looking for a new car, he’d take a serious look at the Stinger. It’s nuts how amazing this car is.I get compliments every time I drive and the coolest thing is that it’s from all different types of admirers. or stop to say something.
Have had a few haters in little Type-R civics and C43 AMGs, but 90% positive![]()
And that's another thing I like about rebadging - at least for the time being. People still don't have the respect for Kia that the company deserves. Most people wouldn't be caught dead taking a picture of a Kia. But, with the "E" and "Stinger" badges, people take the pictures. They post them on social media. They ask, "What's this?!" - somebody replies, "That's a Kia Stinger! Awesome car."... "Really?!"... Mission accomplished.I can’t tell you how many times someone races in front of me to look back to figure out what is (I’ve replaced all the Kia emblems with the E emblems) or someone stops next to me at a light and stares. Had a guy ask my permission to photograph the car, of course! I’ve never had a car that garners this much attention. I still haven’t seen another on the road.
Lol, almost sounds like we need to address ourselves like James Bond “Stinger,.....KIA..Stinger”And that's another thing I like about rebadging - at least for the time being. With the Kia badges, that person probably never would have taken the picture - and never learned to respect Kia.

Ruf, you're a lucky guy!I'm the primary driver of Sally, and when my wife had to attend some regional mortgage broker seminar in Bellevue (Bvue is to Seattle what Beverly Hills is to L.A.) I told her to roll up in the Stinger.
She said no way was she going to let some kid park the car, much less park it in an underground garage. I told her lots of 6-figure cars park there, and that its just a car. She said, "No its a Kia Stinger and its gorgeous. Let's keep it that way."
She even makes me remove the carseat on the days I don't have to take our boy to daycare. I just keep falling deeper and deeper in love with that woman!![]()
Funny you should say that, as I've actually tried to get her to drive it more, but she doesn't want to do the B2B commute into Seattle...says she wants me to make the 1st blemish 1st lol. Then she said the only other car she wants is her long-ago sold '66 Malibu back---but only if it came with 600hp and 50mpg.@Rufus perhaps she needs one of her own?
