The Stinger is an attention grabber, there is no question about that. Question is, how often do you get comments, thumbs up, or notice people just staring at the car in awe? :D Let's vote and share our stories!

I’ve had the car for one week and I’ve received so many compliments! It’s a real attention grabber. People stop me everywhere to take a look or to ask me questions about my Stinger. The most common reaction is “I can’t believe it’s a KIA!”. I’m really proud of my car. I’ve never felt so good behind the wheel of a car

I get compliments every time I drive and the coolest thing is that it’s from all different types of admirers. I had an old man in a MB SL63 give me a thumbs up and asked me if it was a new Maserati:DA young guy in big F250 truck, Dodge Challenger, even women in minivans try to race:rofl: or stop to say something.

Have had a few haters in little Type-R civics and C43 AMGs, but 90% positive:thumbup:

I can’t tell you how many times someone races in front of me to look back to figure out what is (I’ve replaced all the Kia emblems with the E emblems) or someone stops next to me at a light and stares. Had a guy ask my permission to photograph the car, of course! I’ve never had a car that garners this much attention. I still haven’t seen another on the road.

That’s awesome! I had a guy in his late 60s ask me how I liked the Stinger (he actually knew what it was). He was driving a Land Rover, said he has owned about a dozen BMWs, and that if he was looking for a new car, he’d take a serious look at the Stinger. It’s nuts how amazing this car is.

Two more days....I hope. It will be interesting in my corner of SW Missouri because there aren't a lot of "car savvy" people around. Most are BillyBob Gunrack pickup drivers with huge off-road tires and jacked up frames (bet I can out-corner them), or little cheap econoboxes with loud pipes and decals hiding all the dents. It will be interesting to see if anyone notices here. No Lexus or BMW or Acura or Genesis dealers within 100 miles or so, so those drivers are few and far between. Next door neighbor has a Challenger so he'll be over to check it out, I'm sure.

And that's another thing I like about rebadging - at least for the time being. People still don't have the respect for Kia that the company deserves. Most people wouldn't be caught dead taking a picture of a Kia. But, with the "E" and "Stinger" badges, people take the pictures. They post them on social media. They ask, "What's this?!" - somebody replies, "That's a Kia Stinger! Awesome car."... "Really?!"... Mission accomplished.

With the Kia badges, that person probably never would have taken the picture - and never learned to respect Kia.

Lol, almost sounds like we need to address ourselves like James Bond “Stinger,.....KIA..Stinger”:D:rofl::thumbup:

Actually, the guy knew it was a Kia and he took a pic of it while I was at the dealer getting it serviced ;)

My most memorable compliment was a late night run to Krispy Kreme and the guy in the drive through windows said my Stinger was: "Cool as shit".

I get compliments from my wife every time she gets in the car. Biggest accomplishment ever for me.

@Euljiro1ga I'm the primary driver of Sally, and when my wife had to attend some regional mortgage broker seminar in Bellevue (Bvue is to Seattle what Beverly Hills is to L.A.) I told her to roll up in the Stinger.

She said no way was she going to let some kid park the car, much less park it in an underground garage. I told her lots of 6-figure cars park there, and that its just a car. She said, "No its a Kia Stinger and its gorgeous. Let's keep it that way."

She even makes me remove the carseat on the days I don't have to take our boy to daycare. I just keep falling deeper and deeper in love with that woman!:rolleyes::cool:

Ruf, you're a lucky guy!

Funny you should say that, as I've actually tried to get her to drive it more, but she doesn't want to do the B2B commute into Seattle...says she wants me to make the 1st blemish 1st lol. Then she said the only other car she wants is her long-ago sold '66 Malibu back---but only if it came with 600hp and 50mpg. :D:laugh::rofl:

So where do I start! First off it's been virtually every time I drove the car!

- At my office parking lot, I've seen colleagues walk by it look around and look impressed. One eventually found out it was mine and told me how much he liked the car.
- At the gas station, drivers driving off staring - looking all around, especially towards the front and they end up with a stumped look on their face on what "E" means? :D
- While in the middle lane of the 401 hwy in slow traffic, a driver to the right merging with speed from an entrance ramp was turning his head staring at my car while he's still moving ahead. Distracted driving at its funniest!
- At store parking lots, people have walked or driven out of their way up to me and praise the look of the car. They ask what it is? I ask them to guess and nothing. I eventually tell them that Kia makes this premium model and are pleasantly surprised.
