Took delivery of the car on Thursday and was originally going to book it in for the Varex exhaust fitting on Saturday morning, but then we realised it was our last free weekend for a while and it made more sense to have the car in the shop while we were at work and make the use of the car now. So we drove out to Orange on Friday evening, visited some friends and came back Saturday evening.

My wife's grandmother grew up in this region and the old homestead they lived in early last century can be seen in the distance. As you can see it's terribly dry out in these parts.

Back home via Mudgee, obligatory cellar door stop and a final pitstop before rejoining the rat race. Left the towbar on for the trip but took the roof racks off (or rather my son did - discovered red marker on the roof for placement - hopefully will wash off.
