Being a true blue Aussie I like to add a bit of patriotic pride to my cars & I am in two minds to apply these to my Stinger, so using a little bit of blutac for positioning I’m seeking good honest feedback/opinions/dislikes/likes on this subtle little touch on the front right & left guards as shown.
It’s the Australian Flag, it is on a metal backing with 3M tape for fitting they are 56mm (2 1/4”) x 14mm (9/16”).
No offence will be taken if you don’t like it.

No issue for me had one on my Datsun 200B 35 years ago. Is it easily removable and will effect the paint work if removed? Mine was permanent once adhered.

I don’t have a problem with the concept and I think it looks particularly good against your silver. How does it look lower down, say an inch or two above the brake vents? I also think it would look good at the back directly under the GT badge but if you did that I wouldn’t put any on the sides.

Aussie Aussie Aussie.

Edit. I just noticed how wonky the Southern Cross is. That would drive me crazy but I still like the idea.

Thanks, I’ll try a sample shot above the brake vent tomorrow, I had these same badges on my Sportage & I put them under the AWD badge on the guards as per below pic.
I have the southern cross only on the rear window so that’s it for the rear.
Yes the SC is kinda wonky, but the flag is “stretched”, I like is because it’s compact & still makes a statement.

Thanks @Ozstung, but I don’t think this would affect the paint if removed as it’s only 3M tape.

Like the concept, not 100% sold on those badges, but only because the “stretching” makes the Southern Cross a bit hard to see and the Union Jack becomes the focal point. Maybe a slightly different flag size would be better without being too over the top.

As suggested by @OliverNuther, test location just above brake vent, I’m not sure but let the masses vote...lol

That's it, perfect place , if i remember correctly , the US version Stinger in Sunset Yellow, has the Limited badge in the same area above the brake vents, i think it looks nice just there.

Thanks, it’s growing on me the more I look at it in this position.

Jeez for an everyday drive your car is pristine! What’s your secret and don’t say I get the wife to wash it daily...lol
It’s undercover all the time, I am lucky enough my company provides parking garage under the building.

Isnt it illegal/offensive for an Aussie to patriotic?

It’s only illegal/offensive according to the Left Wing, Latte Sipping, Land Rights for Gay Whales set.
To these people to be Patriotic in Australia you are labelled as Rednecks or Bogans, but that’s OK I’m a proud Australian & they will never change my Patriotism no matter how hard they try to put their twisted spin on it.

I like the badges, i went the decal route simply because it was easier, 20181205_153139.webp
