Hi Folks, Time again for a Drive & meet . Quite a few "Stingees" have been asking when are we going to get a drive happening ? Date 14/7/18 .

Meet: 8am at 246 Windsor Rd, McGraths Hill ( The KFC/McDonalds complex )
Trip: Thence a drive to Bathurst including a few quiet laps of Mt. Panaroma followed by a visit to the Motorsport museum whilst we are there.

As some of the members are from Central and more Northern reaches of Nsw it was decided this time the location would be advantageous to most. The Kia GT NSW Face book group branch has posted this as well so there should be cars involved such as Kia Pro-ceed GT's and maybe some Optimas as well. So there won't be any wiggle room for date or location changes.

Ideally we would like to see the Stingers out in force, showing there various plumage and flexing their twin turbo muscle (Discretly). Last two meets were great but i let the side down by not giving enough warning ... so here you are 7 weeks to eradicate the excuses and polish and detail those machines. Sydney folk aiming to be back in the big smoke by 6pm. - Ozs-

Hi A/s if you have anything in mind put it forward even if its local and im sure a few here might be up for it. Our main events are through the Kia gt facebook group. Quite a few here are from Western Sydney including myself.

I had looked at a few GT's over the past two months or so (in VIC & NSW) and decided on Deep Chroma Blue with red interior. Went to local dealer on Wednesday 16th May with intent to buy, walked into showroom and saw a Snow White Pearl/Black fitted with Bi-Modal, tint, protection film, and mats. As it had everything I would have ordered I changed my preference. Sales person said it was a special order but the sale fell through. I thought it was ridiculously over-priced at $75,777 and made an offer. As Sales Manager was not available I agreed to return on Friday 18th and commenced negotiation. We agreed on a price and at 1.30pm I left the dealership as they had to get it registered and do a final detail. Returned at 5pm to drive it away about an hour later. Very please with my new toy!

A choice of 2 meeting places either 246 Windsor rd Mc graths hill at 8am (KFC & McDonalds complex) or Glenbrook tourist info centre Hammatt pl Glenbrook also at 8.00am. The two groups will rendesvous at McDonalds at Lithgow by 10.00am then onto Bathurst.

Friendly enough to deal with but hard on bargaining. Also, asking too much for delivery and additionals. When they showed me a supposed invoice (on the deal that fell through) the delivery cost was nearly 4k plus GST to be added. That combined with an inflated Bi-Modal price put it way over LCT threshold so again extra cost. Hadn't had any contact from them or Kia Australia for nearly 7 weeks until an $800 voucher for a photographic portrait arrived last week LOL

Yep i got one of those vouchers. My experience with the sales manager wasn't good.
