Where do you guys go to get your Stringer serviced for aftermarket stuff like performance tuning in the NOVA area?

I had my springs and exhaust put on at Ptuning in Manassas. They're expensive but they know what they're doing.

I'd like to piggy back off of this question and ask what dealer do you take your car to for service? I want to take mine in for the wiring harness recall and wasn't happy with the my experience with the inside-the-beltway dealer I last used.

In the Spring, I was planning on asking Brent at Loudoun Motors install sway bars and maybe some more stuff. Caveat emptor: They do performance work, although I have not used them for that yet. I've had great experiences with them on other stuff (including draining oil out of my Stinger when the dealer tech overfilled it--for free).

I use Ourisman Chantilly KIA. Been using them for years with all 8 of my KIA's. They have never BS'ed me, tried to upsell me or any of that crap. Great guys doing a great job. If you try them out, ask for Scott and tell em Jennifer sent ya.

I'm dropping mine off there Wednesday to have a few things done...6k mile service, wiring harness recall, state inspection. I just did the lift gate rattle "washer" fix over the weekend, but haven't driven it enough to tell if the noise is totally gone. After this week, I hope all I have left to figure out is the sunroof rattle.

I'm probably available for a meet up this Saturday so pencil me in.

Hey Everyone, Fairfax/Burke - 2019 GT1 Ceramic Silver here. Got my Stinger two weeks ago from Koons Woodbridge (great guys over there).

Recently did a Compustar/Drone remote start with EZGO lock/unlock feature added from the amazing team at Tint Plus in Woodbridge. Also did the replacement LED for the rear reflectors from K8 Stinger. Plus...did the “Stinger” rear badge replacing the standard KIA badge...definitely a must do.

Looking for you all around town! Haven’t seen another Stinger around here.

Compustar remote start with Drone was $500 including installation (no fob is needed to carry, no fob is to be harder wired into the car). The car will not shut off when opening the door. When you push the break it goes through a 2 second system check, but the car does not turn off. The Heat/AC setting will turn on to the exact settings as you had when you turned the car off. So blast the heat I the winter when you turn the car off.

Adding Drone gives you the ability to remote start from any distance on your phone (also can us Apple Watch to remote start which is a great feature). There is a drone LTE service of $5.99, first month is free. If you pay per year it gets a lot cheaper...I think $129 for 3 years total. You can also add GPS and Speed tracking which raises the fee. If you don’t add Drone, you can still start your car with the Stinger factory key fob

I also added EZGO which magically lock/unlocks the doors when you a within a few feet from the car. You carry a very small key fob, but don’t have to push any buttons. It is awesome, but is being discontinued (I’ve only seen one left online for $65,super cheap!) That cost me another $150 including installation.

Tint Plus in Woodbridge did this in about 4 hours. Super nice guys, plus they have a sign up saying they give 5% off if your post about the job to your social media or like them on Facebook.

I have to be at the Safe and Sound in Manassas and have an appointment at 10 to get the LED scuff plates installed. Ill be over afterwards, hoping it doesnt take 2.5 hours to do.

If it takes less, ill be there sooner.

Just the door scuff plates that light up when you open the door. Got them off K8stingerstore.com. I put a 50 dollar deposit down and it takes however long it takes, so not realy sure what itll cost.
