Haven't had mine for the winter, but my buddy @BlackBolt84 has and he kept his summer tires on. I'd say that it really depends on how much driving you do on a daily basis. My commute is less than 2 miles, so I'm keeping my summers as well. That being said, it's a shame dealers dont order them with AS tires.Hey guys, just picked up my GT1 AWD last week and am loving it so far. Quick question for anyone who had their Stinger through last winter. What did you do about your tires? I have the staggered 19" with summer tires, so I'm thinking I'm going to need to get something. Was it worth it to go dedicated winter setup, or was moving to an AS tire good enough for what we get around here?

ITS SO NICE! the low rpm notes are quite deep, and I get a few gurgles on deceleration. When I'm on the gas, its a very satisfying and aggressive sound that isnt obnoxiously loud. With the valves closed, it definitely seems quieter than stock. I dont have any plans for adding downpipes any time soon. You will have to tell me how it sounds after you get it all installed.
Current commute is about 11 miles each way. Just get concerned with ice and the freezing temps we generally see.

Which variant? I want!
I have the same weather concerns so I got a set of A/S. Michelin does not recommend driving the performance tires if the temps are below 40F.
Cheers
If you are ordering, let me know please. We could maybe order together and save on shipping.![]()
Wish I could go this Saturday! Are you planning to go the following Saturday on Oct 19th?bring it to katies
Good to know. Which ones did you go with? Same staggered setup?
My '18 Stinger Premium AWD w/ Bridgestone A/S tires was crap in the snow. Since my 19 GT1 came with summers, and another NoVA forum member had an accident in light snow with his GT2 on all seasons last year, I decided to buy a set of Blizzak's pre-mounted on 18" wheels from Tire Rack. I'm going to swap out the wheels probably early to mid next month. My daily commute is 100 miles round trip (when it's my turn to drive in the carpool I'm in.)
Was thinking about it! Are you going this weekend? I was also thinking about taking a nice drive out on Rt 211 out by Luray for that awesome tunnel lolbring it to katies
I got the EVC from @ImportSharkMike . I've seen people talk about there being a "GT" and a "Sport" EVC, so I'm unsure which one but I love it! P.S. super fast shipping! Would recommend!Which variant? I want!
Not available on the 19th, sadlyWish I could go this Saturday! Are you planning to go the following Saturday on Oct 19th?
Perhaps we could get a few of us together again?? I would love to get there in time (means butt-arse early) to park in the event.
