Oh nice, good idea. And wish I can give more insight on that sound. Mine sounds a bit deeper due to my downpipes I guess. But I havnt heard any negative comments while running these.
I actually like that whoosh sound.I did a little diy before I actually got them welded on. Got some exhaust adapters that slip snug over the Delta tips and wrapped them with some jb weld exhaust wrap that hardens. They're not 100% centered but pretty close. But at this point I'm not sure why it still whooshes like I'm about to take off (per my wife) lol.
Bing-O. I should've asked that earlier, haha.Idk if it makes a difference that mine is the 2.0
I'll attempt to get a video of it tomorrow. Normally whoosh sounds come from the front not the back lol .Bing-O. I should've asked that earlier, haha.
I'll give it a month or so. It's only been like 3 days lol. Don't get me wrong I like the exhaust it's just odd to me the sound that it makes at WOT . I like to pretend it's a tiger screaming . Maybe I'll get mid pipes next. Been looking at tips but hard to find ones that aren't $200 for all 4. Jb4 could be in the future as well.
Hey just another random for ya. My exhaust has gotten a little deeper as time has gone on. Still has the odd whoosh sound you're not thrilled about at WOT, but as for daily driving and idle its definitely deeper sounding. The drone you have tends to disappear as ypu get used to it. Gotta remember you had no sound before with the stock exhaust and now you've opened it up so more noise is inevitable. I was super set on getting tips right away because i had the same thoughts of "holy shit thats loud", a couple of weeks later the thought was gone.I'll give it a month or so. I appreciate the feedback. It's slowly growing on me. Yeah at this point I much rather put the $200+ towards the jb4 than the tips .Hey just another random for ya. Makes perfect sense. I went uncle chip just because i couldn't pass up the deal i got. But with all my research the jb4 is a bang up product no doubt.I appreciate the feedback. It's slowly growing on me. Yeah at this point I much rather put the $200+ towards the jb4 than the tips .
