Hey all! I'm Rob in Delaware and I just bought a Stinger! I picked up a 2019 GT2 with . . . only 8,347 miles. Six years old but barely driven. I'm a car guy - Datsun 280Z, two Acura Integras, an Acura 3.0 CL, a Lincoln Mark VIII, a C5 Corvette, BMW 128i, BMW 328i Touring have been my fun cars (along with an assortment of dad cars and a couple of pickups). Current cars are the Corvette and the two BMWs. The Stinger is replacing the E91 (the 2010 328i wagon).
I was looking at 2018 and 2019 BMW 640i GTs (similar 4 door hatchback config as the Stinger) but very few were sold and I was having trouble finding the specific spec I wanted. Decided to take a look at the Stinger, which I have always admired, and went to look at one at my local Carmax, thinking it was a higher trim level than I wanted (due to cost) but this thing is so clean, so few miles, it's like a six-year old new car. So I opened up the wallet a bit wider and did the deal. My 128i is Little Red so the Stinger is now known as Big Red.
Anyway, looking forward to new adventures with a new and different car. I'm active in the local Corvette Club and the BMW club. Doubt there's a local Stinger club . . .
