Pretty awesome commercial. I like the reverse one and how it goes back in time. Appeals to the older generations.
Yup, they finally figured out the target audience! I sooooo hated the early videos they put out featuring pretentious hipsters. Now they just need to add some ads with women driving the Stinger.Pretty awesome commercial. I like the reverse one and how it goes back in time. Appeals to the older generations.
That would be fun to watch!Yup, they finally figured out the target audience! I sooooo hated the early videos they put out featuring pretentious hipsters. Now they just need to add some ads with women driving the Stinger.
Indeed, @Waynerm002! Thanks for sharing! I'd only seen the reverse ad.That was pretty awesome! Thanks for sharing.
Brilliant!I had an idea for a Stinger ad last night that I thought would appeal to several generations simultaneously. The ads that have spoken to me so far have been pushing the idea of the brash, talented newcomer dismissed by the establishment. My idea is a bass-heavy background with a driving beat for the score..one that would eventually crescendo near the end of the ad. Visuals of younger drivers as well as older, more affluent owners all clocking a new Stinger cruising menacingly down a busy street. Intercut with grainy b&w footage of a young, brash, and pretty Muhammad Ali, training, punching, showing off. Crescendo with Ali voiceover of his famous "float like a butterfly, sting like a bee" quote as music, present, and images of Ali cutting faster and faster as the quote is heard, followd by a beauty shot of the Stinger peeling out. --whaddya think?
I love them both!
i was coming down a set of stairs from my local grocery store where I had parked behind a Turbo 911 , when I got to the sidewalk there was a new 440 GT parked directly behind me , as I was putting the bags in the car the BMW pulled out and the guy rolled down his window and said " hey great looking car , what is it ......................the rest was something you could not plan if you tried . Suffice it to say he was blown away !!I love them both!
And I'd like to see a re-creation of the incident mentioned in an Auto Guide article: "Driving down the Las Vegas strip, which is the world’s biggest distraction, the Stinger was still able to grab a weird amount of attention. Driving behind a lime green Lamborghini Gallardo, someone shouted, “Hey, nice car!” I naturally assumed they were talking to the Lambo driver, but then they pointed their camera in the Stinger’s direction and gave me a thumbs up. I caught the Lamborghini driver scowling at me from his rear-view mirror."
Brilliant ad , brilliant spend of money ...............Kia is starting to reinvent itself , this was way more than a 1 model spend , well done boys !!!Found this one which is pretty nice. It's the full video for the SuperBowl teaser we saw earlier this week. Got one going in reverse and one normal.:
I didn't like the reverse video (which I watched first), but the forward one was good. Odd that they seemed to highlight the reverse camera...basically a standard/mandatory feature...coming from the company that omitted the 360 cameras.
