the sparkplug boot gets corroded and ruins any new plug in a matter of days. as the stinger's plug boots are included in the coil pack that is why the coil pack must replaced on any cylinder that cracks the plugs.
I’ve share that exact Same info with them and the tech stated everything is pointing towards the the bad plug. A crack in the porcelain will cause a misfire. They didn’t see any issues with the coil pack. His exact words.
twice now, with the same #3 cylinder? how can he explain that? of course it's the cracked plug misfiring. the question is why is the same cylinder cracking plugs?

Bingo . I’m not a mechanic by any means or even mess around the hood but I did learn a lot of info about the stinger on the forum and through the different fb groups. It makes total common sense to replace coil packs instead of messing around with one plug. All the tech keeps stating is that because of the porcelain on the cracked spark plug it will misfire like that. I asked the same question as to why is it misfiring. They just replaced alll plugs to oem and still having this. That should have been their first solution.

Should have been their first solution since they already replaced the hks plugs. That common sense thinking right there and I’m no mechanic. Beating around the bush messing around.

I understand your annoyance. I work as an mainframe admin, 1 on a team of 10+. I remember trying to communicate to a developer that their JCL code wasn't running properly on the mainframe. Long story short it was an up hill battle with them because I wasn't a developer so how could I know the solution. It's almost like you have to be a subject matter expert before anyone listens to you.

Agreed. If you don’t have credentials to back up what you are saying. Some ppl need to push their pride to the side and be open to solutions. No one knows it all.
I grew up in the era were if you didn’t ask a question because you didn’t know something you were looked down upon. Never hurts to ask if you don’t know.
insist on it. it's your money after all, if you have over 60,000 miles. I don't know why they would argue with you on this, it's a simple matter of checking the coil packs and they won't look good if they are bad, hah hah.
