New Shiny Part From RPM

Anyone else but this part? I bought it and I'm having all sorts of issues...

1) Hoses don't fit, they are too large compared to stock.
2) No vacuum caps.
3) No 6mm vacuum hose
4) Collector will rub against the pulley.
5) Paint quality is horrible.
6) Welds are awful, there is loose aluminum on the inside.
7) tubing gaps were filled in by welding them closed.
8) All sorts of turbulence producing imperfections on the inside.

I'm left with a product that requires you to manually bend aluminum and buy all new hoses in order for it to fit. If you go to the pictures on their website it shows that the motor mounts are bent, while the unistalled product pictures have perfectly 90 degree bends.


If you have this product and got it on please share any tips that you have.
Hmmm I’ll let u know when I get mine they custom mine to match my stuff soon as I get it I’ll inspect

Johnny tig advised they gained 10whp from changing the charge pipe out.

I stole the picture showing the stock Y-pipe vs Johnny Tig's Y-pipe. You can see the difference between RPM's unit at well.

I can't help but wonder if the RPM pipe could cause more turbulence vs the stock merge pipe.

I'd love to see a dyno chart on this thing.

I went with BMS instead. I'm still interested if you got yours to work.

How's the BMW flange and Tial BOV working for you?

Are you getting a lot of up movement on the valve like they show in the demo vids on the BMS website?
 
Wow good thing I found this post I didn't realize how BAD this part sucked. Not only that ive been trying to get them to respond to emails and msgs to purchase one.

GOOD THING I Didn't buy!!!
