New here, greetings from Germany

I should image when Schpok and Alagos correspond here it must be tempting to do it in German. But you choose English, both of you write well in English. Im sure no one would have an issue if you did use German. Nice effort Gentlemen.

Thanks Oz :D

for me it's normally not that tempting, only the last massage was because explaining some german stuff, to a german guy, in english hahaha

Welcome Alagos and Schpok!!
I am SUPREMELY jealous of your ability to drive your cars on the Autobahn!!
I was on the Autobahn a few years ago only for a few minutes, in a tour bus, in the middle lane, when a Porsche 911 blew by us in the left lane, I'm sure, in excess of 200 KPH. The bus driver saw the Porsche bearing down on us in the rear view mirror and announced to everyone on the bus "Look to the left as you're about to see something that you will never see back home!".
I was doing a Viking river cruise down the Danube, and I absolutely fell in love with your country!! I could not get enough of seeing it! I think that Passau and the surrounding area is a little piece of heaven on earth! The best Veiner Schnitzel and Sauerkraut I have ever had at a restaurant at the foot of the bridge crossing the river! Plans to go back and visit again soon!

Thanks ^^ it’s a good exercise for me to text in English .. I guess I’m happy that it’s not talking, most words are missing when talking ^^
For me I’m a guest here and the rules of the house are on top, i will proceed with English and if needed, a pm might do it also ^^

Congrats on the car!

If you are looking for wheels
https://www.felgenshop.de/kia-stinger-ck-alufelgen/2-0l-t-gdi-188kw-256-ps/#!felgenfilter/gutachten_ohne=ohne/sortiert=Empfehlung
Felgenshop currently has the most wheels available as far as I've seen it.
if you filter, Gutachten -> ohne you find some nice wheels imo. but still not what I want so I wait probably one more season
my favorits so far, Dotz CP5 (TÜV but not in black) and Oxigin 20 Attraction (black but no TÜV)
Not sure, i mean .. sure it’s the same car 2019 / 2018 Model but you know how our Germans are - TÜV might say it’s not same model since it’s the 245 PS version - but I’m not sure if it’s the same car code .. if it is, sure then it’s okay .. I’m jusf confused why the wheels look different when choosing different 2.0 models .. and then in the back they need wider ones, they don’t come as a package or ?

Fun thing is.. the white stripe on the bottom - I think it should stay - looks great
I bet that's packing plastic. :D
The weather is bad .. looks like frost again last 2 days we had snow .. more than Last 4 Months and it’s gone already but in that case i need winter tires.
You don't need winter tires unless you are driving on a frozen road with snow pack or ice. If the air is freezing, but it hasn't lasted long enough to freeze the road surface, your summer tires will work just fine from a safety point of view; they won't perform as designed as far as optimum grip is concerned. But you just determine what grip you have below 40F (the colder the surface the less the grip) and drive within your limitations.

What :eek:o_O I have to check that. But is it true that the "New" engines have less power?? Why the F**k should they do that
I just thought their original info about the HP was a bit off and before to many guys complain about that they changed it

The wheels in the back don't have to be wider but I Looks better :p
I will do it like that: I find wheels with Tüv in lets say 19x8,5 but I will run 19x9,5 in the rear for sure. because how whould they know? do they messure my wheels, I guess not

I've checked it. Wheelscompany and Felgenshop do have the same wheels for 245 and 255HP if you filter "Eintragungsfrei, ABE and Teilegutachten" I really hope it stays like that, because otherwhise we have a tragedy

The particle Filter is the point where the power loss is.. 370>366 and 255>245
Okay.. will see what is possible on my shop, plan is to wait some months.

My dealer said they need to be the way you bought the car, otherwise you need tüv .. it comes with 225 front and 255 in the back and that’s what is allowed. But I think my tire-dealer will know better and will do the right thing.

I have a question.. I see some of these pictures .. do all the dealers put a ribbon / loop ?!? On the hood ?
As I had seen mine it stood in the rain .. absolutely sad day bad weather ..
On delivery, if you have seen it before you got the car finally after ordering it, was it inside or was it standing outside ?

Yeah down in Oz we get a big hoo ha and a ribbon. That been said if the dealer feels you've been an ar#ehole you get nothing. Hence i got nothing.:laugh:20171221_113052.webp

At least it stands inside ;)

And nope... I made it easy .. I guess he almost never sold a car that easy ^^
But at least later you can say you picked the right colour.:)

Mine stood inside  I didn't had to worry about rain or something since delivery was in July and that week was +20C°:D

no idea what you mean by ribbon. But I still find some of the covering plastic
