The world is a very uneven place! How can you experience a Stinger unless you get to "step on it" and get over a hundred? I know, that's not legal. But hopefully you at least get to try out the acceleration?

Can’t agree more with you, buddy. Didn’t manage to test out the real potential of the lady.....

A very short “sting” of acceleration..... the sales guy was quite worried about it.

Sport Mode is direct, like my old lancer - Push it and it goes on. Just very much more powerful als my Lancer - okay. It’s 100 hp more
In comfort or eco it feels Strange as there is almost no reaction in the beginning

When I test drove the Stinger in Korea
we were in a street limited at maybe 40mph but there was not a lot of traffic, and suddenly the Kia guy told me: ok now FLOOR IT!
(FYI: In korea cops don't arrest you for speeding, they only rely on speed cameras. So the guy knew there was no camera in this section of the drive.)

Well, Right now im owning a Mitsubishi Lancer Sportback 1.8, but i want the Stinger so Bad, so .. calculated a bit, Next Year, January or February i want to order one (3-4 months of delivery Time, Winter is gone then..tires for Winter will Come later then. I just Need to know if it fits under my carport - with Open doors and i might get out of it.

to taxes it will be just the 2.0 in deep chroma blue, But it’s an upgrade anyway to my now 9 year old Lancer, i guess it will be the 2019 Model then..Wonder Whats in there, except the other Exhaust System with -10hp

The Stinger is like an absolutely Dream.. never read so much about a car like that it’s almost creepy.
But the other Side is - i see what is possible in other countries, things that are Not available here. (puddleLight, ambientLight,...)

So yes.. friday i am Test driving it. Im so excited...

First things first, puddle lights are available in Germany! it's an extra Option, they will install it after your car arrived. So i decidet not to do it.

I think that it May take Time - sad is - the 2.0 has no brembo
Someone told that the brake is not that good - But who Knows what he has Done to his car

After ~3 Months and +15.000 km later. I feel the same way. It Brakes good but it should be way better under hard braking with this engine power.
It feels like my 2016 100hp Civic had better Brakes. But I really don't know

Congratulations! The 3.3TT is awesome, as you have heard, but the 2.0T is is also great.

On the plus+ side, you get to drive it on the Autobahn. Lucky you! Please let us know your impressions/experience with the car there. I used to visit Germany regularly for business - Bavaria mostly - and have driven the unlimited-speed sections several times. It is truly exciting – provided you have a proper car. I rented some small Ford product back in the early 2000’s – and older base Focus-type thing. That buggy nearly rattled off the road at 85mph! Best rental I had was a Mercedes wagon (E Class?). It was solid and smooth cruising at 120mph. One of the best compliments I ever got was from a German colleague / passenger in the car. He told me I was a really good driver… “and not just ‘for an American’”! Man, it would be a blast to get my GT2 over there. Maybe I can rent one when/if I ever get back there(?). Good luck!

Wow, your taxes are ridiculous in Germany.

In the UK the 3.3 is just under £42000 new, with all options as standard (you'd don't pay extra for anything). My 3.3GTS was £31000 ex demo model from the dealer with 3200 miles driven. The 2.0 comes in 2 trims in the UK, from £32000, or £35000 new

Road tax if the car is new is £1200 first year, then £140 a year after that, as i bought it as the second owner it was £140 for me.

Starting with 2.0 44.490 € + P1 and P2 and another color than sunset Yellow, it’s about 50.480€

The 3.3 is Starting with 55.900 €.
Other color and Sport Exhaust is almost 60.000 €

Glas-roof is extra 690 €

The white one i drove today was 2.0 but older one, 500km on it and with P1 + P2
Price was set on 487** € including 19“ Winter wheels - im thinking over it. White was Nice .. even if i first wanted a deep Chroma Blue

The weather is bad .. looks like frost again last 2 days we had snow .. more than Last 4 Months and it’s gone already but in that case i need winter tires. I don’t want to buy them because this time i want new rims too and there are only 2-3 rims as an option for now for 19" wheels

Also the only day i can get it, is wednesday, the plates can only be made then, so I had the choice next week or a week later since this week is too early (want a marten protection and they need to order first)
Looking for the weather I decided a week later.

Fun thing is.. the white stripe on the bottom - I think it should stay - looks great ^^

Edit: oh by the way, I think I’m gonna call my Stinger "Sonic" like the hedgehog also Blue ^^

I have too agree with @Ozstung , your going to love it, we both have Deep Chroma Blue and even after a year of ownership, looking at that paintwork never gets old.
