After over a month of waiting (and driving a Forte), i finally got my Stinger back right before Christmas. Must say that the engine looks like a shiny new penny under the hood (as it should). Head redone as well. This thing feels better than when i drove it off the lot with only 50 miles on it......i want to put about 500 miles on it before doing anything other than K&N panel filter (everything else is stock).
Must throw in a shoutout to my Kia dealer.....they took car of me with the exception of the charge tube hose blowing off on a downshift and had to drive the car back to the dealer without any boost. Took care of it in a couple of hours.
I do have a jb4 and connected it on MAP 0 just to get some logs of how the stock engine does with timing/boost. Looking through, i noticed that the stock boost reaches as high as 18 psi. at times which this is what i would expect running MAP 1???????? Trying to attach the log. if it does not attach, i will add it later.....
Any thoughts, Terry or otherwise?
