Take a look at these 2 pictures. Is it just me or is the rear diffuser a different red than the car. And does it look bad . thanks for opinion.IMG_0454.webp IMG_0455.webp

Remember...you asked! :p

I like the idea of the red, BUT...I do think it's a different shade.

Looks like a different color and yes it looks bad.

looks different, who painted it? I would ask them to redo it and color match appropriately. Did you request a color match or did you just pick out a red?

yes I paid for color match on it. I sent an email to the company that I bought it from. I dont want to rat them out yet if they can fix it. I will let you all know if I dont hear back from the company about fixing it.

Yes, looks like a different colour
and yes this looks bad, but I am not a fan of color matching anyway.
Hope you get it resolved.

A bit off topic but how long did it take between the time you ordered it and it arrived at your home?

Sounds like import shark. But I am sure they will say it’s your fault. And yes, definitely not the right color. Looks like neon red or something.

I ordered it in November and received it in March. From what I was told it took so long because the company they get it from wanted to paint a bunch of them red instead of having to mix up a batch for 1. But that is just red paint no need to make a special color.
Idk they said that is what I ordered it said glossy red on the paint order on the website. But I mean the car isnt glossy red doesnt make sense. Going to have to take it off and get it painted at the KIA dealership cause now I look at it every time and makes me mad.

Well it does sound like it is your fault. I went on their website real quick and there is a gloss red option and a hichroma option. The car is hichroma red. Sounds like you ordered the wrong thing. Maybe he’ll give you a deal on a second one. A body shop will likely charge a few hundred for painting it.

Different shade, and sheen as well. Looks like colored plastic in the pics. It's distracting.

Yup, as @Never thought mentioned, there is a universal glossy red paint option and also a HiChroma Red option. The item purchased was glossy red. We can obviously have it re-painted. While it's not exactly cheap, I'm sure it will be less than having a local bodyshop or especially a dealership do it.

That wasnt on there in Nov. when I ordered it. There was only black matte and glossy red. If your gonna put red f*cking match the color to car there is no glossy red car. When there was only 2 options you would assume the color red that they offered is the same as the car.

You didnt have that option on there in Nov. when I got it. It took 6 months to get the part. So I assumed they would paint it the right color that you offered since there is only 1 red car. You said they didnt want to mix a batch of color because they wanted to do a bunch at one time. I was ok with that excuse because I figured they match the color to car and didnt want to make it for 1 but that is just red not hard to make red paint.
