Need help in purchasing a 2018 GT1

The dealer wanted 43870 OTD for 2018 GT1 with driver assist. I offered them 41.5K. I doubt they will take it. But the guy was so patience and kind. Got to give him credit. The best Kia salesman so far. I intend to offer 42k. What do you guys think will happen next?

I am from Cali. They wouldnt even take 42k. 42800 is what they want. How much should i pay for 2019 GT1?

I didnt qualify because my car is 2 years older than the requirement.

did you try to do the lease buyout? You should be getting the 18 GT1 car roughly 10% off MSRP and then the $6,300 rebate, so around 35,000-36,000. OTD would probably be anywhere in the 37,000-40,000 range depending on your taxes and other fees. 19 GT1 I would add around $4,000-$5,000 to that price.

I was able to get an 18 GT1 AWD (no drivewise) for $40,700 before lease/finance offers. MSRP was $46,800. After lease and AWD bonus it was almost 30% off MSRP before taxes and fees. This is up in the Pacific Northwest where 2018 GT1's are pretty scarce. The deals are out there but you may have to shop outside your local area.

Like you , I'm im currently in Cali I flew to Jerry seiner in Utah, got my GT1 for $34500....drove it back here....I don't buy shit in California cause it's filled with a bunch of overpriced bourgeois a**holes...oh the dealerships too.

Don't give away almost 10k of your hard earned money to those morons. Even $36k is a great doable deal.

Thanks. I will try that route. I found out that the 45k offer was with the 2k incentive. So actually its now 47k for the 2019 GT1 in ceramic silver.

Subtract $599 for the gap insurance I asked for.

Not having projected depreciation rates on a KIA made me nervous....I was a Subaru guy, so GAP was never needed on a car that hardly depreciated.

Btw $799 on there is the stupid resistall paint protection that was already installed. And there's $0 down payment, they just added the rebate there. I paid $0 out of pocket for the car and won't make my first payment till 15th of november

So you got 38k OTD. You said you have max incentives. What was the price they offered before incentives were applied to get 38k? The price they offered me was actually 47k for 2019 GT1 minus the 2k cash incentive is 45k.
