MY21 Aussie Release Date

More than one Australian car news website (from memory CarAdvice and CarExprt) has said that KIA Australia told them new badges will only arrive on MY22 vehicles.

Ok so May onwards in Aus is classed as MY22?

From CarAdvice - “Kia has announced its new logo will make its Australian debut on the incoming Kia Cerato mid-life facelift in May 2021, before being rolled out across much of the company's existing line-up over the ensuing months.”

With the on going delays we might get the car in the actual year 2022

Kia can launch a model with MY22 in May, another one in July and another a November... not all models arrive at the same time but since MY21 Stinger was released late 2020 MY22 Stinger might arrive late in 2021...

Got the same call, not sure which boat it is on,, it's a 14 days trip. (to Sydney)

Yeah thanks. I love the colour in real life. I was surprised to see up close it is actually a metallic paint. I always thought it was a "flat" colour. It is very subtle.

Only extras was gt floor mats and tray liner.

I get it ceramic coated tomorrow and window tint next week.

What's people thoughts of window tint with a degree of metallic mirror - not full mirror? I'll probably just go with 22 black tint but just thought about the darkened Chrome on the mirrors etc that it might look cool.
