I am bombarded with rude everyday I enter the Stinger market.
Yes, 99% of those rude people have never had a part from us, nor have they even called our shop.
Do you know how many people come to my shop, with the expectation of being treated poorly? Then, when they are here with us they say how happy they are with the experience? I cannot count the number of times people have said, "you are a lot nicer than those people say you are online". My reply, "because none of them are actual customers".
I have had people who were extremely rude to me over this last 12 months. Made claim against me, my company and our right lies about us blowing up Stinger engines (I just had to delete 4 posts from some lunatic on my business page making those exact claims). Oddly enough, those exact people who made those claim are now asking me for a tune. So, do I man up and ignore the finical loss that those customers cost me... "water under the bridge". Or, do I make them apologize for their actions over the last 12 months?
If you don't accept rude, and do not do rude... then what would you do in my position? A person who has been rude for several months wants a tune from us... do I deny them that sale?
My work is proven to be the best (results speak louder than words) my customers service is what I feel is the best in the market. My online presence blows donkey balls. If I were to just sit there quiet, ignore all the negative comments, and ignore all the misinformation and just tell people, "your right", and "yes, you are correct" I could be that "guy" everyone likes. That is not me, and it never will be. Face value is what you get when online, and that pisses off more people than any blown engine I might have caused, lol.
