I can't match your times, Tonka. But mines already down the track...

They hit 330 in the time it takes me to get to 60mph. Need more hp!

@TorkMe hits a 121 summer time dragy trap and 9 second 60-130 on 92 octane, no e85, no wmi. Not bad.

I'm here to announce the holly matrimony and eternal love between tork motor sports and bms. Tonkabob has acquired Brancky3's jb4. Jb4 has been getting beat bigly by lap3 lately and tork as well thanks to the bms snippy snip.
Just planning on using it for a little extra boost in the cold temps to wipe the korean off the dragy leader board this winter. This has been a public service announcement.

I've been saying this all along. Best combo will be Flash tune with JB4 to fine tune boost, fueling and meth.

Not sure about that but if JB4 is the "android" of tuners then Lap3v2 is more like the "windows mobile" alternative. It sort of does the same stuff but for reasons unknown costs more, offers less apps, less support, fewer updates, and everyone knows it's going to be discontinued sooner or later.

Tork tune is still the fastest in my mind. I can't get the snip working fully and tork hasn't tried it yet.
Hoping to match or beat Angels time tomorrow with a .15 slower 60 foot. With a full power snip I'm 11.5s no wmi.
Lap3 has the fastest stock turbo and this awd guy in korea looks even faster. But all pretty much in the same ball park. I was thinking kato was lap3 but is jb4.

Would we really say that the JB4 users are getting beat “bigly?” I don’t quite see it.
It is hard to generalize and I cannot speak for drag racing, but as far as rolling (in Mexico), I haven't seen a faster car on stock turbos using the Lap3 tuner, yet.

Sweet... For what you're doing no need for fuel wires. Just make sure it has the latest v10 firmware, connect the two MAP connections and OBDII, and grab a log on map0 (bypass) so we can see where you stand now. Also set options/fud bit0 on to disable the fuel control wires.
Yeah i was going to ask you that. Probably better to add a psi or 2 by rpm and gear than to use iat wire.

The IAT wire is a really useful tool in the right situation. If you have an issue with heat soak negatively effecting the tuning I'd suggest playing with it. But its effectiveness also depends on how the intake temp to timing decay tables are set in your flash among other factors. What I always tell people is record your data and use that to guide you, especially if you're moving around uncharted territories.

Had to dust off the thread ban button. Anyone else care to join those two?

I'm more interested in not losing boost in cool weather. I've seen 140-145 iats with no impact on timing but at 75 iat this morning i only hit 19 or 19.5 psi in 3rd and 4th where at 100+ i would hit 21 psi. Seems the iat spoof should be at 100 or configurable.. Don't think ive seen max boost until 95 iat.
119.33 trap this morning in my big boned gt2 awd.

Hmm, had to Google what "doxxing" means. So many words have been invented in the last 5-10 years.

You can use it to raise IAT to keep boost up if you prefer. I'll have to see the data though to offer any useful advice.

If it was fully configurable i'd program it to be min 100 degrees and true readings above that for safety.

There isn't that level of precision that IAT signal manipulation, and the JB4 side logic for it isn't setup that way either. We could do more with it but have found the current logic does what we need. Make sure you have the IAT wire installed and enter a "6cyltiming" value to influence IAT. Lower values increase IAT and higher values lower IAT with the change being proportional to the current IAT. Something like a slight colder bias is probably what you need. I'd start at a 60 setting and go from there.

As I said start posting logs and I'll see what we can do to help your tuning. If we see something in the logs that indicates the need for a logic change I'm always game to customize the JB4 code.
