I had a "track" race against a gen 6 camaro with a lot of sharp turns and hard braking we were both well over 160 mph for several miles at different points during the 20 mile race. He couldn't pass me until the road was upsetting my suspension and scaring the hell out of me. I pulled away from him every time it smoothed out. My point is the engine Temps would climb to 210 to 215 and within 10 seconds off the boost it was down to 190 or so and I never noticed a drop in power like I used to.

What are the mods of both vehicles if you don’t mind me asking?

Mishimoto should at least give us a definite presale date and a pre-sale price. They were first saying May, then June, then July.

Apologies in the delay in getting back to you on this!

First, yup the presale is still coming, however we are experiencing a production delay that is going to push the launch of our presale back to July now. I know that it's frustrating to have another delay, and we greatly appreciate your patience for those still waiting on this kit. I dont know about the Camaro SS. Definitely an exhaust but that is all I can confirm.

I have 2019 GT RWD - BMS Intakes - BMS Intercooler - Locally built muffler delete - Denso .0020 plugs - JB4 Map 3 on 93 octane - 200 Treadwear Federal 595 SS/RS tires on rear - WMI in a box I need to install
Notable wins with this setup:

2020 Supra - more of a top end race by chance on the way to work. Got nice video. He put up a better fight than I anticipated. Modded he would kill me.

Gen 1 SRT8 Charger
2016 Scat Pack Charger with exhaust only.

Gen 5 ZL1 Camaro- very close. Side by side for 1/8 mi? or so before slowly pulled away.
I got destroyed by a Gen 6 ZL1...thing was nasty.

2018 or 19 Mustang GT w/ exhaust. Video posted a couple of days ago here.

- Dude was a prick. He sat behind a pickup pulling a trailer a 55mph through 3 clear passing zones so I passed them both. I guess he took offense and passed me coming into a little town after I slowed back down. He flipped me off so I followed him out of town to a two lane un-striped, no shoulder highway. As soon as we left town I passed him. He had it pegged to the floor but had no answer. (I almost blew the first turn not realizing it was a 90 degree turn lol) I intentionally drove the speed limit until he tried to pass. I would pull away every time lol. Dude was passed and I was having a blast keeping him behind a Kia. The roads started to get twisty so I tried to run away with it but he was able to keep up because of the turns. (Zero suspension mods yet and my front tires had about 2 weeks of life left.) He had no answer on the straights. I would open a huge gap every time we would get up over 60. He did end up passing me once after a corner (again tires and soft suspension) but the road opened up and I passed him showing 164 on the speedo. He had to have been doing between 155 and 160. I got home excited to watch the footage but my wife had the laptop at work so I put the card in my phone...which automatically formatted it without asking. Sucked.

Has anyone tried the CX Racing intercooler. If so, what are your impressions?

I’ve heard good things about it and this might be the direction I go since it comes with the bigger charge pipe

So everyone is looking for a price... Due to my background in business I can pretty firmly say you’re not gonna get a price just because of the fact mishiMoto doesn’t know what they’re gonna be paying overseas and they have to figure out the logistics... So if they quote you let’s say 500 that means that unit has to come in under $100 shipped ballpark I’m gonna say $800 That way they hedge their bets... they might even drop it to six or seven Just because people are buying from other companies and have given up on them

I hope they hook you up...But at the end of the day it’s a business...some people are going to buy it No matter the price... so they’ll go after that 35% that’ll pay top dollar.... 65%Who will only Purchase at a discount can go suck on an ass... After all the research I did the AP unit was perfect for my needs... People just have to figure out their own needs... Just think how hard this is going... lol It’s like pulling teeth I learned a long time ago to cut loose when I see stupidity... good luck

That number might change due to the fact Of how hard/high cost’s it is To import things now. I’m just mad I waited this long I could’ve had my intercooler installed months ago for Almost 3rd of the price

Also all the major tuners I’ve talked to about the intercoolers that extend behind the crash bar say that isn’t really that big of a deal and that evos, GTRs and other big hp cars are like this and that it isn’t worth spending double just for that. So I think this IC to be worth buying it would need to be ~$800-$900 Otherwise the CX racing would be the better deal as it has all the upgraded piping except for the merge pipe.
