Anyone have vibration after install of MBRP? Sunglasses vibrate in holder at low RPM and can feel it in the seat. Everything looked tight and installed correctly.
Installed with factory tips. Is loud inside but not too bad. Much deeper than my 99 Si. Like the sound. Don’t like the shake.
Sorry if this Might have been answered previously but search didn’t find what I was looking for.

I’m getting a little but I believe mine is more a tip issue than the MBRP. My left inside Alibaba Akrapovic tip has developed a rattle. The question is whether it stems from the MBRP install or is it the cheap knockoff tip. Since I was under my hoisted car in beatie eyed inspection mode during install for both MBRP and ARK my guess is cheap tip. I think a little blob of epoxy will be the solution.

Yeah mine had this as well, at ~1500-2000 rpm there was a resonance that can vibrate some stuff. Stock tips as well. Everything was tight. This is just how sound frequencies operate sometimes and one of the added perks of aftermarket tips is not having this at all.

Thanks thought I was the only one. It only happens at low RPM in Comfort and Eco modes. Definitely just the low frequency, install is good and nothing is touching. Only happens when I drive so it’s not really a big deal. Wife drives sport mode everywhere so she doesn’t hear it. She also blips throttle everywhere so I guess she likes the sound.
have tips coming to try and reduce some of the cabin noise. It isn’t loud enough that you can’t talk over it but the constant tone(drone) when cruising does get a bit annoying. Kind of used to it now. Definitely louder in the back hoping tips will make it better for kids on longer rides.

Hey everyone. Just had the MBRP kit installed and definitely noticed the same drone that lots of people have mentioned with stock tips. I’m in Toronto and would love it if anyone can share the best way to get my hands on some 63x105 aftermarket tips to clamp down tight and get that exhaust noise to exit rear and reduce (if not eliminate) the 2K rpm drone. Thanks!

Yeah, I got mine 4 months ago and just started noticing the vibration...i inspected it and found a few leaks from the welding points! Very disappointing. I bought mine from the K8 store. It must be covered under warranty - I reached out to both MBRP and K8 store today let’s see what they say.

I thought so too but zooming in, man that really does look like a hole. Of course there really isn't any way for a hole like that to open up without some other damage to the car but sheesh it looks so "hole" like.
Very disappointing. I sure hope K8 gets in your corner and MBRP makes it right. I also have MBRP and because there’s welding expertise in my family I always take a very close look at welds. I have to say on my set I was happily surprised with what I saw since they were my cheapest choice at the time. I always say to myself “ Ya get what ya pay for”. So thx for the heads up, I’ll be giving them a close check next time the car is up.

Yeah, for sure. It's definitely good to check it here and there. I was tracing a tiny vibration and that's how I discovered it.
It's holiday hopefully they get back to me by Tuesday and I can let you guys know how it goes. I have a friend who owns a GT mustang and had a similar issue with his Borla - different car different product but Borla sent him a brand new set. Let's see how MBRP backs its product.

I have no vibration in the almost two years that I’ve owned mine. I also have what looks like soot coming out of one side of mine. Not near that bad though

We’re always in our customers corner, but we have no control over how a manufacturer handles warranty, that’s dealt with directly through the end user and the manufacturer of the product. I’ve already replied to the customer that created the post here on the forum, and he will be contacting the manufacturer to get this resolved. I’m sure they will be happy to get this taken care of for the customer, as I’ve mentioned to him, we have sold over 50 of these exhaust systems and have never had a single issue even once in the past.
