This is one of those installs you just might want to pay for.

It’s just awkward if on stands. If have a lift, it’s easier. Just basic tools. Impact gun is a plus, makes things a little easier.
but overall is straight forward.

Exactly without lift pita.

Damn, well its going to have to be stands for me. :-(

Did the install today. Took 3 hours. Used jack stands. Wd40 was needed. Definitely don't need a professional. A second person helps when aligning the new exhaust. I made sure the mbrp ends extended into the kia tips as my buddy tightened it up. I have no drone. Sadly I feel it does not sound that much better than stock. But need to drive a bit more. Also...no way my wife can notice a difference, its not much louder.

Thanks everyone for the help.

Hummmm I definitely heard a difference, it’s not OH MY GOD difference, but a difference.
Make sure you dont have any leaks, since you extended the exhaust closer to the fake tips. Since I had aftermarket tips to put on, I made sure the exhaust was all tight together.

I notice mine all the time. Much louder than stock. The Aftermarket tips are 63x105. What length?

Agreed. I most DEFINITELY hear a difference from stock. A nice medium between stock and borla IMO

Hope, I did not do any tips, left it stock. I will check for leaks. With that being said, wouldn't leaks make it louder? Someone else said i need to break the exhaust in and it will sound louder?

Good on you for doing it with a buddy. The sound will open up a bit in time.
I’m waiting on the Ark secondaries. Be interesting to hear the difference when they go on.

i know it’s probably cold up in Canada, but the biggest difference in sound is with the windows down. It reverberates nicely and is much louder than the stock cans like that. Windows up, thankfully, it’s not a huge difference.
