Thanks, Ivan. So, in March, I was almost number 1,555, since I got mine on the 26th.

A couple of interesting sales stats.

Only 6 sold in the Czech Republic, but that equals combined IS, RC and GS sales.

Sold a whopping 63 in Sweden (that's pretty darn good considering Sweden's CO2 tax rate).

Which is a good bit more than what the IS/RC/GS/LS sold combined - 20.

Over in Europe, the Stinger seems to do well (comparatively) in Germanic speaking and Scandinavian countries and less well in Southern Europe and the Iberian peninsula.

What # would be consider a success in the U.S. in a year?

5,298 YTD which projects to 12,715 in sales for the year (likely will end up higher as took some time for supply to get up to speed and for dealerships to start dealing); aside from April, sales have increased every month.

Probably will fall short of 15k for the year, but think Kia would be pretty happy if sales were somewhere in the 15-18k range going forward.

One thing that can dent the upper range of that projection is if the G70 takes away a significant # of Stinger sales.

Kia Australia has withdrawn all yellow and blue Stingers from sale.

That would be for the month, this is still steady number per month, Kia AU projected these qty’s late last year & will expect numbers to climb once more are out in the market & all AU V8 Commodores are sold, some Holden Dealers still have new stock & are drip feeding them at premo prices.

I don’t think that will happen somehow with the paint chip issue and a few other issues. We will have to see, getting a Holden person to buy a Kia is like asking the queen to go to MacDonalds they all think Kia’s are rubbish and won’t even test drive one.

Well I was an SS owner, my daughters neighbour just traded his VE SS for a GT just last month Unfortunately in light blue now deleted. Also Kia AU stated previous month that 18% of trades were commodore owners, so the tide is turning.
