Well I was an SS owner, my daughters neighbour just traded his VE SS for a GT just last month Unfortunately in light blue now deleted. Also Kia AU stated previous month that 18% of trades were commodore owners, so the tide is turning.

You’re a rarity, most Holden owners wouldn’t be as open as you. Still 18% is pretty good makes you wonder what other cars thy are considering, Mustang? Hope your neighbours paint stays on!

Yep, funny you mention Mustang, after I ordered my car last Oct. I attended a launch night at my Dealer, standing in the showroom admiring the Stingers a guy came up & asked me what I thought of them, I told him that I had ordered one, he stated that if it drives as good as it looks he was going to trade his Mustang in as he hated it.

As an aside, the new K9/K900 is doing really well for Kia - sold 1,705.

Altogether, the Korean lux models did 7,153 in sales.

In its 5 largest markets, the Stinger did 3,216 in volume last month.

When I bought my car I met a guy who had just traded his 2 year old jaguar in for a stinger, said the stinger was a drivers car unlike the jag.

^ A bit odd.

Modern Jags are known to be driver's cars.

If anything, too much so as Jag has overly concentrated on driving dynamics and performance while shortchanging interior space and luxury (which is what Cadillac also had done w/ the ATS and CTS).

So for NA altogether, a total of 8,034 sold YTD.
