Mando SDC EDS10

Mystery solved. I will add a the fuse for the Mando. The only thing is that the MANDO shows "Connected" in the APP. Is it possible to still pick up the bluetooth without the proper fuse in the slot for the ECS10?
...and does this mean the MANDO is not doing what it is supposed to do to the suspension. If I am being honest. I have not noticed much difference.? - E
No. Not possible to connect with no power.

Sounds like you have power to the ECS10 (green light flashing)
Sounds like you have 1 fuse installed in the add a fuse/fuse tap. That 1 fuse would be powering your ECS10.

And the missing fuse is causing an open circuit to the AFS (module 4).

When you say you didn't notice much of a difference, what program did you select and enable within the Mando SDC ECS phone app?

The default condition is - disabled. You have to connect to the ECS10, AND enable it 1 time.

If you mean did I pick Comfort or Sport, I have test ridden with both. I was going to set up a custom setting that you had sent me as well.

Comfort and sport are - very subtle.

Create your own, like 80% firm or something very obvious, and you then will IMMEDIATELY see if it is controlling the suspension or not

Ok, I will get the fuse hooked up properly later today and get back to you. Thanks again for all your help. -E

if you create a very simple profile - like this (for testing). - you can create these profiles in the app - even when not connected to the car, from the comfort of your office chair, or wherever

You will easily and immediately be able to determine if working of not working, by driving just a few feet/meters.

Fixed it. Light went off and all lookin good. Thank you my friend. - E

When I pick a custom setting it says I need to be connected. How do I do this from the comfort of my office?

I think you have to be connected to do this.

I think you have to be connected to do this.
no

connection not required to make profiles.

then

The need to be connected to APPLY.
but you can certainly create profiles while disconnected.

Speaking for Android - I do not own an Apple.

Was it you that sent me the "Comfort/Sport" setting? I cant find it. - E
Definitely not. but I did read about it.

my opinion is, the built in Mando ECS10 comfort setting is adequately comfortable for me.

Hello all,

I managed to score a Mando Module off of a wrecked stinger, however, the signal wiring wasn't salvageable. From what I can see through pictures and videos, it looks like the connector used for signal is a 3 prong 2.54mm JST connector of which I have plenty of. What worries me is if there is an interrupt happening in the harness under the steering wheel or if the harness provided by Mando is just a "tap" for OEM use. If it functionally just acts as a tap, then I plan to create my own 3 prong JST connector to 3 posi-taps for the harness under the steering wheel.

Can anyone that has installed/uses one confirm my theories/research?

Edit: Was told to ask DJ. Can you offer any insight? @D.J.

There is no interupt.

The wiring from the 3 pin JST connector goes to a very simple harness (with 4 wires).

The red wire is just a passthrough.
The 2 blacks and 1 yellow, are each connected in parallel at the "T" junction.

Short answer - it's just a tap, not an interrupt.

Great! Thanks for the info! I'll do some tracing in youtube videos to determine which black wire goes to which connection for the steering wheel connector. I think I have a wiring diagram booklet for the stinger saved somewhere too.

My first posts here, just got my Stinger 3 weeks ago and my Mando this week. Just wish I'd seen this thread a week ago because it answered all the questions I had, lol

I got my 2nd Stinger a few months ago and added the Mando Box right away. I too had many questions but thankfully this thread got me throught the installation. My next mod is lowering springs. THAT i will have to leave to the experts. Enjoy your new Stinger. Looks like we got the same one. - Eric
