Lozic ECU + TCU + AWD Tune

So after you put the new ECU in it will go through the “adaptions value” phase. Basically a learning phase for the ECU. The ECU is learning what fuel you have and all other outside factors. It does this before fully advancing the timing and allowing the car the most power etc. Hopefully that made sense!
So in the log IGN 2-6 will show 2.3 on all cylinders at first. Then after a few pulls it will go down to 1.5. Then a few more 0.8. Then a few more 0.0- then it is “fully reset” probably not the best terminology. Sometimes this takes 3/4 tank unfortunately. But once that happens the log will show you the true potential of the tune and also any issues. Also will be faster usually then too.
Yes, great explanation:)

Unfortunately, the first one is 100 octane Shall Racing, the second one is a 98/100 mixture.

I think it’s unfair to say one what is better until
apples to apples on fuel and ECU not in the learning phase. But I really like both those tunes! They hold boost really nice. And timing is good but not crazy aggressive.

Damn, I did not know this.. I always wondered why I would these specific values. I was recently told there are different calibrations from the factory and some pull 2.3 by default and other calibrations 0.8 by default. Lozic I was told uses the c7c calibration for all of his tunes. That's a Stinger tune from what I understand.

I’m recently going to plug back in an ECU. I’ll show the logs of each period and how long it takes.

The first log was shortly after changing the ECU. The second log on another ECU was made after a few days of testing. What do you recommend? I must choose

1. What were you told was different about each tune?
2. Did you just ask for 1.5? The reason I ask is most 1.5 I have seen drop boost a lot more than yours does after 5.5k rpm.

That being said out of those two logs and limited data- the first log you posted I think has more potential for faster times and a touch more
Power. But the second log looks to be a little more conservative/“safe”

Hi,
The target boost is different.
I took another logs- ecu with lower target boosts. Please evaluate the logs. Shall Racing 100 octane fuel. I have the impression that the car runs better on Ecu with lower boost. What do you guys think?

Best regards
Bogdan

Throwing this out there to all
People that have CPI.. when pushing 20-22psi of boost. And below 1/2 tank of fuel. Do you ever get Fuel Cut/crash? I believe I know why. I just wonder how many others experience this…

Hello been contemplating on purchasing a lozic tune. The thing is not sure on what to purchase. ECU or TCU. The stinger is my daily and I like to have fun with it here and there. I live in California so pump gas sucks at 91.
Current mods are: Intakes, oil catch can. JB4. HKS plus. Downpipes. MBRP exhaust. Intercooler(soon)

I need some insight on what I should do next.

CA here. I have jb4, lozic tcu and mix e30. Also a few other mods: intakes, plugs, ecs10, sways. Plenty fun, and I can switch jb4 maps according to the fuel I have.

So there’s no point in getting an ECU ?
Depends on what you want. Most advise to use jb4 to log anyway. With 91, I don't think you'll get too much more than jb4 map 2, but maybe I'm wrong. As for ecu, not sure I'd go lozic at this point, although lap3 stage 2+ needs wmi, I think. I'm not willing to do wmi.
