Lozic ECU + TCU + AWD Tune

I run costco 91 on 1.3bar.

Yes its functional. The two data pins point to specific ports, the 3rd is just a ground I think. No issues with it so far and only two are connected. I haven't found an actual adapter, I just pinned the ends of the wires and stuck them in.

Cool. Spare cable is like $25.. I might try it. Would certainly make things a little cleaner.

How to do it is actually on this forum somewhere, but its not as clean as you think it is. I used a special tool to pin it and run the wires, though if you are gonna do it with a spare cable then go for it, as long as you have the port.

Oh, so it's not just strip the normal obd-2 end, and swap cables? I haven't looked at the jb4 in detail in a while..

It is, I just added pins and made my own cable because I only had one OBD2 cable at the time.

Catless/HFC question here. I’m going to pull my trigger on either 400cell or catless primaries. I’m currently having JB4 without EWG wires. Do you guys think I can get away with revision with EWG wires or not?

I’m putting together my order for the Lozic ECU TCU. looking for feedback on the units. anything you wish you had ordered differently in the set up, any engine or transmission issues long term. I’m not looking to break the sound barrier in 3.9 seconds but I would like more kick than stock. Something that will provide more fun but not break the car in 20k miles. I plan to keep it for a while, as I have all my other cars. TIA
I had a 1.4 bar last year, and then went more aggressive with a 1.5 bar and boost ready. Noticeable difference on top end with the 1.5 bar, however I think 1.3/1.4 is Lozic sweetspot. Never had any issues on the 1.4, I ran that aggressively in my car for about 7 months before going 1.5.

You must run E85/CPI or WMI with the 1.5 tune.

Boost Ready feature does work and brings on the boost fast, feels more racecar-ish. However, it's hit or miss for how you'll like it. To some it's not smooth, I was fine with it.

TCU has zero issues.

I've had his tunes for about 13K miles. My car is driven pretty hard more often than not.

Thank you for this. This is what I was looking for Regarding the ECU.
TCU: what percentage did you have? I’ve heard about -15 to -10% is good so as not to harm the transmission. Any recommendations on settings? Thanks.

I ordered mine over a year ago, so I'm not sure what options may have changed.
Here's what I selected when I ordered:

Shifting Pattern RPM when full acceleration -5%
Shifting Pressure 2- fast
Launch Control torque Limit Off
Auto Up Shift when manual mode Yes
Shift Pattern when auto up shift is Yes A
Change lever type_ H-matic or E-Shifter E-Shifter

I don't think I would go as high as -15% or -10%.

Word of warning. You should not go catless on both primaries and secondaries. You will have oil burn and potentially have leaks into the turbos. Also, you will more easily run into overboost issues. This has been mentioned/confirmed by multiple different owners and tuners. Please do not run full catless. You can run hfc/catless secondary combo however and should be okay.

Also, I think stock cats are 400 cell. An HFC will be 200 cell count.

For whoever

Seems like 13% is the sweet spot for pump gas ecu tune and 10% is good for WMI/CPI when timing pull is not a concern.

I’ve seen some stock ones a without tune running fine with 400 cell downpipes in FB group so it makes me wonder if I can do it without revision. Stock primaries must be 600+ considering they are passed EURO6 emission tests.

Probably fine, idk. I'm referring to 0 cell counts.

Hi~
How are you.
Long time no see.
I'm very busy these day.

What has come now is to bring the good news.

First.
LOZIC USA INC will start From 1, November
Ficticious business name is LOZIC USA
Both names are the same company.
I took over apocalypse engineering. It is a shop that is good at JDM and mainly does it.
I will work with KDM and JDM and tune more kinds of engines like Lozic Korea.
We have 4wd Dynojet. and more.

LOZIC USA
27488 Enterprise Cir W #3, Temecula, CA 92590
213-309-9578
Daniel Lee (Seungwoo Lee)

Second.
Lozic set up a booth at the Sema Show in Las Vegas.
It's my first time participating in a Sema, so I'll start small.
Preparation is also poor.
I am also regretting making the manual. (As time was running out, I asked the English teacher to check it, but I couldn't wait for a reply and printed it out.)
I can speak English a little but I will serve customers.

Third.
Many customers had requested to purchase the Lozic EVC Exhaust, but shipping was delayed due to high shipping costs.
But now I have found a way.
Earlier this year we tried to cover all shipping for 2100usd, but shipping costs have risen significantly as the Covid-19 measures are lifted.
Now you can complete the delivery without any additional payment.

Fourth.
The Lozic USA website will complete soon and all items can be purchased online through the online shopping mall.
LOZICUSA.COM
LOZICUS website is being built by my customer and friend Christian in Texas.
We are sending hard-to-find parts in the US by request.
These parts can now be found in online shopping malls.

Fifth.
It will create new data.
Do not expect customers who aim for maximum power.
We will develop data for our customers for general comfort.
However, it does not give up the request.
If you what want, just ask to me, just request me, just order me.

Sixth,
Please look forward to me.
I'll let you know when a few things are ready.

Thank you for waiting all of my friend.

the motorcycle tuning part made a video by request.
All Korean staff are in Las Vegas.
to take a look.
The work will only be done by me. hehe
Don't pass the shabby place. that is Lozic.

This is also the place where I came to be at the invitation of the customer, and it is also the beginning of my global market.

This is an important fact.

Thank you for all,

Keep in mind whatever percentage you go with, it will be that same percentage when your just cruising around normally. I have -8% and when in SPORT Mode its great but in COMFORT Mode, I run through the gears pretty quick when just cruising around light to light at normal take off speeds. I had to learn to use the paddles more so in COMFORT Mode or always be giving it a lot of throttle. I think if I had to do it again, I might go with -5% since 70% of my driving is regular driving around town in Comfort since my sport mode is extremely aggressive and that is because of my ECU Tune. Hope this helps.

Hmm not sure if you're going wot on comfort light to light lol but I definitely don't run out of gears or have the need to use paddles for comfort/cruising.. felt like stock and I'm on -13 shift pattern.

You guys are confused. the -X% is not the amount of pressure. its the percentage lower that the RPMS will shift at. for example, 6400RPM is the normal shift point, so 6400 - 8% would set the shift point at 5888RPM. the shift pressure is the Levels 1-2-3-4 that lozic offers.
