Quick question.. but is there a decent OBD connected tool for logging instead of the JB4? I want to eventually get a Lozic ECU and TCU, I'd rather not spend the extra on a JB4 for just logging at that point if there is a good OBD connected logger. Sorry if this is a dumb question. I'm just not sure what options there are.

Car scanner pro is good enough for monitoring a mild tune. But it’s sampling window is too big and the log file is too ugly to read. Good enough for a quick solution but if you’re going WMI(no matter standalone or let JB4 control it)and want to play with boost curve for higher RPM in the future JB4 is the best choice.
Maybe someone else can chime in here but for whatever reason most cars running a tune and WMI have elevated timing deviations on IGN3. Again not sure why but I have seen the same thing, IGN2 and 4-6 are all at 0 and IGN3 is 2+ degrees

Funny mine is opposite 4&6 are the 2 cylinders that always show up with some knock retard in my logs. I can do a battery reset they will disappear then come back. 4 being the worst

Yup. That’s what I see too. After reseting the ECU this is what the new log looks like. I’ll switch to a larger nozzle soon and let see if that makes any difference.
I'm going Tomorrow. Either tomorrow or Friday will be my last chances to go this season so I'm hoping for the best. The 1.6 is Noticeably faster though, if you have the fuel to support it.
Hi guys, I have a 2018 Genesis G80 sport AWD and I'm looking for ECU and TCU tune, but all I can find is the stinger ECU and TCU order spec sheet, is there anyone with a tuned G80 that is willing to share his order spec sheet, because I'm tired of the JB4 and it's problems.
Thanks guys

Well, every time its happened to me, its because more than one thing was attached to my OBD2 system, as I can run my JB4 through the port in my engine bay, so the Cabin port is left open. I would ask Lap3 if thats all that is plugged in.
couldnt find anything but before i dive deeper into finding it, would I be able to fully run my JB4 off of that diagnostic port as opposed to the port in the cabin??

No you can't it's a different connector, also I'm having trouble with my JB4, I can't connect Bluetooth to the JB4, and the car runs rough when I install it, I attached a video of the first start up with the JB4.

@dommyydom Yes you can IF your car has the port (MY18-19) and you dont mind stripping the JB4 connectors to get to the bare wires. My OBD2 connector had broken on its own which is what led me to trying it in the first place.
@Hasan You are wrong. My JB4 runs right off that diagnostic port as it has a direct link to the OBD2/Canbus system. The connector does not fit however and you need to splice the wires together on your own.

I’m putting together my order for the Lozic ECU TCU. looking for feedback on the units. anything you wish you had ordered differently in the set up, any engine or transmission issues long term. I’m not looking to break the sound barrier in 3.9 seconds but I would like more kick than stock. Something that will provide more fun but not break the car in 20k miles. I plan to keep it for a while, as I have all my other cars. TIA
