Lozic ECU + TCU + AWD Tune

Your timing pulls arnt bad, but could be better. What boost level do you have your meth start spraying at? Seems awfully high.
Yup lozic asked me to spray it way earlier than I expected it to be (having BMW n55 PTSD here). And the car absolutely loves it.

What’s your spraying start/max RPM and boost then? I was not able to get a clean log until lozic asked me to do 2300rpm/10psi start and 3000rpm/16psi max. I’m using snow stage 4 but I assume JB4 is controlling it similar way.
I just selected map 6 and it's spray at wot, but I will try to do it as you mention.

So set the min at 2300 and max 3000?

I’m confused by JB4’s settings since I didn’t go that route. I would like to see how others utilizing all the other triggers like rpm and ignition timing.

Generally starting at around 8-10 psi and max spraying above 15-16 psi should be fine with all the controllers. I was causing more timing pull than it should be by setting the full spray rpm too high (4000rpm), while our car pretty much outputting peak torque at around 3000rpm.

When I am at the track, I set my JB4 app to spray @ 1psi and have it setup to spray max flow all the time. On the road I have it set to spray at 8psi or above at max flow.

AFAIK those are not related to WMI settings. Only the top portion is. Set the Min Flow boost to 8, The boost additive to 75 for max flow, and the signal scaling to 60 if using Map 0 like you should be with an ECU tune.

And no problem with running too rich and losing power? Lozic is right about how smart and adaptive our ecu is then.

Also I noticed you have BMS rear diff installed for your AWD car. It there any noticeable difference after it was installed? I’m having traction problem without my AWD and can’t launch any harder than 2400-2500 rpm depending on the temperature, so I’m wondering how much does it helped you.

No issues because it burns so quickly. All the meth does is allow for more power sooner. The only issue you may face is if you have some left over meth in the charge pipe, the car will start a little harsh for a second but after that it goes back to normal. from my understanding though, that is completely expected.

as for the Brace, if you are breaking traction, its not going to help while you are still at the line. where it DOES help, is as soon as you start rolling, the rear tires should get grip much, much sooner. its a must have for a RWD car.

Thanks.

My boost curve seems pretty odd at higher gear. Anyone else living in high DA area have this problem?E03C9C8E-705F-4909-8EEF-41EC0A1C3FC6.webp

I’m color blind so I can’t read that.. sorry but I live at high DA and it’s sometimes a weird curve.
Yup. I can never meet the target boost in higher gears and having slow 60-130 than anyone else.

Same here.. 2nd-3rd gear is always my best for the curve. I have made it a little better with Map6 but still in higher gears is harder.

Even turbo weather can’t save my 60-130. How’s your’s before and after adjustment with JB4?

Guys, when timing a 60-130, would you just start from a roll at 60, then just nail it? Or start from 0, so you are accelerating at max velocity as you pass 60 mph?

I believe the standard for it is rolling from 60 but I have a feeling that a lot of people posting ones quicker at already going when they show it.
