Sign up for ups delivery manager ups probably has it.Anyone ever had their order stuck at “Ready for customs clearance - Incheon Hub”? When tracking my order, it’s been stuck there for a few days now and stopped updating.
So with a typical ECU, Yes, I would agree, However our (and other Kia/Hyundai ECU's) Where built very... lazily in that regard. I have it right from the Kia techline When my motor was replaced, that the integrity checks for the ECU's are largely based on RAM Storage instead of your typical flash memory, meaning that if they don't have power for a certain amount of time, all the information stored in that RAM storage, is just.... Gone. That is why resetting information such as the fuel adaptive is as easy as disconnecting the battery. As far as I have seen, the only things that are really stored Long term on the ECU's are Engine maps, VIN information, and other stuff that typically does not change on a car, ever. They deff can even with stock ecu put back in
Pennzoil Platinum Euro 5w-40. When I was using 5w-30 (before Lozic ECU) I noticed the oil would creep down the dipstick throughout the oils life. I changed to 5w-40 about 10K ago and the oil consumption disappeared until I upgraded my primary downpipes. What kind of oil are you running? More specifically, what thickness? 30 or 40?
How and where could they? Kia run diagnostics to look for logged max boost and like rev what I understand and with a stock ECU it cant have been logged. They deff can even with stock ecu put back in
Oh Good, That the exact oil I was going to suggest trying if you where not on it. The 20w40 probably wouldn't hurt to at least try it.Pennzoil Platinum Euro 5w-40. I mentioned 20w-50 to Lozic and he said I can give it a try. I asked him about 20w-50 because in the 18MY Stinger Kia recommend it. I wonder why they changed their switched their recommendations?
UPS has no record of anything under my tracking number Lozic provided me, so I guess I’ll reach out to him and see if he knows what’s going on.Sign up for ups delivery manager ups probably has it.
You mean 20w50? Valvoline makes a 20w50 full synthetic API SP rating. That's the one I'm eyeing. But I'm also worried about oil pump strain and the CVVT hydraulic system not liking such a thick oil. I really would like to hear from a Kia engineer why they changed their recommendations. Any Kia engineers on here? lolOh Good, That the exact oil I was going to suggest trying if you where not on it. Probably not in this thread at least lolYou mean 20w50? Valvoline makes a 20w50 full synthetic API SP rating. That's the one I'm eyeing. I guess I'll give the 20w50 a try since Lozic gave the green light. Also it's summer time and according to Kia's original recommendations 20w50 is gtg.Probably not in this thread at least lol
It wont be the same tracking number. If you go to ups.com and make an acc and sign up for delivery manager using the same name and address on your package it will show all packeges being delivered to that address without providing tracking numberUPS has no record of anything under my tracking number Lozic provided me, so I guess I’ll reach out to him and see if he knows what’s going on.
Sadly I did do that, and it says “You have no in-transit packages at this time.”It wont be the same tracking number. Throw the tracking number into this website and see what pops up.Sadly I did do that, and it says “You have no in-transit packages at this time.”
That site is showing the same info as the original EMS link that Lozic sent me. Same “Ready for customs clearance - Incheon Hub” I reached out to Lozic on any advice, so we’ll see what he says.Throw the tracking number into this website and see what pops up.

Looking for JB4Are you talking dragy or JB4?
This is incorrect. No, they cant as long ECU isnt flashed and stock TCU also is in.
I don’t trust either his word or his product anymore since a simple swap to injen intake shaved off 0.3s quarter mile on a 3600 DA day comparing with 2700 DA with BMS intake. Also it shaved off 0-60 by 0.1s too. How badly can their intake being designed to be this much slower than injen. All automotive manufacturers use the same basic techniques to detect flash tuning because they all buy their electronics from the same automotive electronics manufacturers. Flash tunes are easily detected after the fact even if flashed to factory and EVEN if you swap the ECU. In this case not only can they detect the ECU itself has been swapped but you'd have to change the computers for the trans, stability control, dash, at a minimum, to try to escape detection. Good luck with that.
There are lots of great reasons to flash your car but doing so makes it impossible to avoid detection later if that is something you're trying to do.

Not to mention thats such a minuscule difference. Was it the exact same engine temp? Trans temp? Was it on the same day? Was track prep the same? Was the wind blowing the same direction?I don’t trust either his word or his product anymore since a simple swap to injen intake shaved off 0.3s quarter mile on a 3600 DA day comparing with 2700 DA with BMS intake.
