Lozic ECU + TCU + AWD Tune

Ahhh okay, was just curious what to expect from this tune from a stinger that’s RWD in terms of 0-60 times.
Its all about learning to launch, with RWD, your launch RPMs will be even lower than ours.

Yeah, that’s what I thought. I’ve heard around 2,200-2,300 is best for RWD but I’ve yet to really practice launches around there

Well if your list of what you have in your signature is accurate, then right now you can just use the standard LC. Mash the pedal until revs stop building then release. You will launch on 0.5 to 1.5lbs of boost. Maybe a little more if you have boost ready enabled on your tune, so you probably wont spin your tires.

I actually just got my tune and will be installing it later this week but that’s good to know. I ended up getting boost ready turned off, but I’m super excited to see how it performs.

Dont do a hard launch right off the bat, ease into a roll from 20 to whatever you feel is safe and get the logs, then post them here and we will let you know if everything is good or not.

This is a maxed out JB4 map 6 in a Mustang very conservative Dyno. My GTR showed 1125 whp in a Dynojet but 900 in this Mustang (4 wheel).

So my 394 hp in this Mustang, that is with maxed out (fuel/turbos), in that case about 394/0,8 = 492 awhp in Dynojet (the one we have compared with). No more power after 5800 rpm so there is what your TCM should shift up. Backpressure (turbo hotside) is that kills all power over this rpm. If we try to go up in boost there... less power. Boost 1,5 bar (22 psi) tapering of to 1,3 (19 Psi).

I run 11,8@120 with this and no launch (60ft = 1,91). This is with E30, meth and RON 98 comparable to yours MON 93. Full bolt on´s (DP with 200 cells). We had some like ign. missings with pregapped HKS but not after gapping down to 0,5 mm.

Conclusion:
You cant compare power between different dynos even with same brand as the shops dont adjust properly and always will make customers happy. Only Dyno that we have seen comparable is newer Mustang calibrated 4 wheels dyno. Every car showes lower figures in Mustang compared tuning in Dynojet before, still all cars considerably faster our tune. So go by times like 60-130 or 100 km/h-200 or similar where start isnt involved to compare your car. Even car by car it can differ more than 25 whp with same things.
He uses the same dyno in every vid, he owns a semi trailer with a dyno built into it
Just wanted to throw my opinion out there in regards to boost ready. I have now had boost ready in four different ways. 1- All the way on. 2- All the way off. 3- Only on above 3,300rpm. 4- Only on above 2,200rpm. I can easily say that Only on above 2,200 is my favorite by far! That being said always on was my least favorite. To each their own. But I think it is a wonderful feature- but would always recommend the 2,200rpm. Best of all worlds!
Why didnt you like always on?

Will do. I only have a Bluetooth OBD2 Scanner to record logs so I hope that’s okay for you all to check out when the time comes.

Very annoying for daily driving and it trying to always boost and blow off. If that makes sense.

I could not find an obd2 scanner app that would give me ignition timing on cylinders 2-6. Only cyl1. Looking at my logs where timing corrections were excessive, I can say that I would not have known without cyl2-6 data. Cyl1 dis not show pulled timing. If there is an obd2 sensor app that will show 2-6 I'd like to know about it, but it is absolutely necessary to see those. I got a jb4 just for logging.

Car scanner on iOS shows 2-6 timings.

I’m here to save your day.
This app can log knock retard for cylinder 1-6
And don’t be scared for the name “knock retard” cuz for our platform timing correction is not strongly related to knock detector, and you’ll probably see zero knock and 6 timing pull at the same time. I believe it is just how he tune it to adapt high ethanol, racing fuel and meth injection without revision. I believe that’s the reason why I can pick up 30whp just for swapping to shell 93 from chevron 94. 3-6 degree timing pull should be normal.

Isn´t it time that Lozic themselves chime in here and make a "sticky" or is they here already?

Just chatted with lozic and purchased the tcu AWD tune. A few questions how long until I receive as I just ordered it and sent him $$?

Someone on here said something about 2200rpm is that the tcu or ECU recommendation?
I have mine set to 4 for shift pressure this okay?

I talk to lozic almost every other day at this point, not necessarily because something is wrong, but learning how he does things and bouncing ideas back and fourth off of him. I don't want to say too much but a couple things he is working on have been my idea specifically. To be honest, Lozic really has 0 time between tuning for everyone, managing his race team, and taking several trip to the USA for....Reasons. His English has improved significantly In the time I have been working with him as well, which is a bonus, but right now he is only getting between 3-5 hours of sleep a day if he is lucky. Based on what he has told me, He quite literally has 0 time to make a sticky unfortunately at the moment.

It should take about 7 days for you to receive it based off how quickly he ships ECUs, could take a couple days less or a couple days more, but he ships quite promptly.

The 2200 figure you are referring to is most likely in regards to boost ready, which is ECU.

4 for shift pressure seems pretty extreme, most people seem to do 2 at the highest, but personally I haven't got the TCU yet so maybe you'll like 4 better.

Most people are happy with pressure 2 and is enough with tuned ECU. Pressure 3-4 is for full bolt ons and beyond. I recommend to change 4 to at least 3.

You should get it within a week tops.

2200 rpm is for ecu boost recommendation.
Woah pressure 4 may be the first then, itll be too much imo. I maxed out at 3 with -8. Most popular is TCU -8% Pressure 0. If you want a stock like feeling but smooth shifts.

Yea 4 is gonna have some banger shifts, ima sure youll feel it lol watch some of lap3 tcu videos he has one with hard shifts and im pretty sure youll get something similar

Appreciate this as I dont got my jb4 atm.

Gonna use this once I get the whip back.
