Lozic ECU + TCU + AWD Tune

Haha no I pm'd. Hes the only Canadian I know here who runs the same 1.3 bar as I want so wanted his input.

Slip tried the Drive by mode and didnt recommend it, so ill go his route with not having it on. Some may like it however.

As a DD, I'd Probably turn the boost function off. I had a brief discussion on the drive by mode boost with Slip, and decided to turn that off aswell.
I reached the same conclusion after speaking with @Slip_Angle. My moods are random when I drive and it's nice to always have the power ready whenever I want.
 
Mass. I go up to New England Dragway sometimes.
We should def plan to all go to NED sometime in the summer at least once, I know I plan to go a few times for testing various things. I know @byebyeSTI would probably be game as well

It's a bit of a drive for me (2.5 hours), but yeah I would make an extra trip if we had a number of cars. Lebanon Valley is closer to me and I usually head there for test and tunes and street nights

Sounds like a plan! I know we can arrange something for sure, once some warmer weather comes our way.

Have you had any long trips with your ecu and how was it?

Say 1.5-2+ hour drives
Car behaves like normal. It took 2 trips to New England Drag in October. 2.5 hours (5 round trip) each way, plus I ran the car down the strip 6x while there. No CELs, noises, sputters or anything that would make you regret beating on it at the track. Played tag with a C4 Corvette on the way home.

Most long drives I take my G80 because I don't want to hear the exhaust for 2+ hours.

Regarding power by drive mode, I found that I missed how the car would drive stock. I still wanted the big power and ability to short shift in Eco, (for example) and use all that torque to silently move like a rocket. Of course it's even better when tuned with Lozic, so I had him change it to give full beast mode all the time.

When did he tell you this? if it could be made like 2500rpm for me, I am pretty sure that would solve all the complaints I have for daily driving, though I will still probably get it turned off
A couple days ago. It's new. I suspect he would be able to do it for 2500 as well.

This is the best way I can describe it. with boost ready on, the car feels constantly in kill mode.
Even in Eco and Comfort modes? Because mine definitely doesn't feel that way. Now Sport mode, that is a completely different story
 
Best 60ft so far is 1.70. I think that's good for the tires I'm running.

60-130mph test is really helpful as well. Have you done any of those yet? This is where I can tell I'm losing power because I don't find my numbers there to be good.

I guess I could look at 100-150mph, but I don't know too many cars that have done that so there wouldnt be much data for this platform. Most I've been able to do is 162mph. Traffic showed up so I had to slow down.
My best 60ft is 1.79. So there is room for improvement there. Best 60-130 is 10.20

Im falling back on my words now lol Think I will stick with power by mode on option D. Will be interesting to see the difference from eco/comfort to sport. Kinda thrilling turning the knob to sport and seeing the boost difference tbh.

I hit 10.99 the other night. I was stuck at 11.1x. Car just gets too hot. However, I bit the bullet and purchased the Mishimoto kit about 3 hours ago. I'll probably get WMI next month. Maybe sooner if it looks like the weather will break.
