Lozic ECU + TCU + AWD Tune

Out of curiosity, did you ever change the transmission fluid throughout the life of the transmission? Did you buy the car brand new? And thank you for being the first person I've read that was actually open enough to admit they had transmission issues. But why post this on the Lozic threat
I bought the car brand new but no I didn’t change the transmission fluid I had every intention on doing it I even bought all the fluid to do it but I was just really busy with work and was driving 200 miles a day for about 6 months . Im sure some fresh fluid would’ve helped a little bit but the transmission seemed fine up until the day that happened so idk. I posted this on the lozic thread because someone made a comment like say goodbye to your transmissions talking about the tcu tune.

So you have the Lozic TCU tune? I agree with you about the point that it's hard not to drive my car like I stole it everyday lol. But after reading this I'll might have to think twice about when I want to mash the pedal or when I want to do a launch control. 100K is still good for driving a car hard. I have almost 34K on mine. I plan changing transmission and both diff fluids soon. It's good to hear you found a shop that replaced your transmission for a reasonable price. There is no way the dealer would do it for $3K.

No I don’t have the lozic tune but I want to get one that’s why I was on here this thread just seeing what people had to say about it. And I did get it done at the dealership I couldn’t believe it was that cheap so I said f*ck it I’ll just go there but they only offered a 12k mile warranty on it after which kinda sucks

No one in this thread had any issues with the tcu tune (knock on wood)

You'd love it

Got my lozic tcu in yesterday and drove around last night to get a feel for it. One thing that I noticed right off the bat was the behavior when letting off the gas and braking. It feels as if the car is “engine braking” and you barely have to apply the brakes. I had to learn how to brake again Bc my usual braking was making the car stop too abruptly since the car was also engine braking. With the stock TCU braking felt more like it was coasting in neutral. Is this the normal/intended behavior with TCU tuning?

I've actually tried 3 different Lozic TCUs.
Pressure 3 -5%
pressure 2 -5%
pressure 0 (stock), -8% (current)

My personal preference is the one I have now (pressure 0) because I like the stock shifting pressure. Based on all of the conversations I've had I would say most people would like pressure 2 or maybe even 1. I also like the -8% because the 3.3T makes most of it's power lower in the rev range, so the early shift seems better.

Also know that he can tune the TCU to match the Sport + settings in the new G70 that maintains higher revs.

I have the ECU & TCU. Happy with both and would recommend to anyone who has the money to spend. If you like burbles and pops this is the tune for you. Highly customizable order sheet. If you're only going for the TCU expect firmer shifts in sport mode and the shifting logic keeps your Stinger in the power band. I chose torque limits OFF because even if this option is selected the torque limits remain ON until the "launch ready" is displayed on the MFD. So if you want to launch the car with the torque limits on it still can be done. PM Lozic on Instagram and he will send you a order sheet and answer any questions you have. Be patient because he is in Korea and there is like a 12 hrs time difference between here and there. Quality product and good customer service no regrets from me. I'm saying these things only because I'm a happy customer and respect his products. It's pretty cool to have a tune coming directly out of Korea where our Stingers are built.

what are the current prices for a lozic ECU and tcu? does what you pick affect the price also?

ECU 1450usd
TCU 850usd
AWD 650usd

For the TCU, the options do not affect the price. Not sure about the other items, as I only purchased a TCU.

Message him for current prices. But when I ordered mine the ECU was $1450 and the TCU was $850. I also had him send me 6 HKS plugs since that is what he recommended. No shipping fees and no fees for options. They are set prices unless something has changed since I ordered mine around 3 months ago.

What's the benefit of the TCU with pressure 0? Just a drop in shift rev to 8% below redline? If you could start over, would you just stick with the stock TCU behavior?

Drop in shift point, removal of the torque limits and launch with boost.

This is the perfect setup for my needs.

Cool. Thanks. Was it the rough shifting from 2nd to 1st that bothered you most about the pressure 2/3 versions you used? I quite like the stock shifting behavior when cruising on the highway. I'd be happy with faster upshifting, but the downshifting harshness and lurching I'm reading about with higher pressures doesn't sound like a great tradeoff.

The overall transmission pressure is increased for all modes. In Sport mode, it's like the car is on a high idle and a bit harder to stop. I would describe it as eager to go. Depending on what you're looking for, this could be good or bad. When shifting, it feels like it jumps into the next gear. Again, subjective to what a person wants. Overall, it's aggressive. The 2-1 shift is harsher but I believe Lozic told me he can tune that out as required. Comfort mode is more like stock Sport mode.

So I chose pressure 2, -5%

Pressure 2: I don't mind the 2-1 downshift as I don't mind circumventing by manualgating. In fact, I have been manualgating with stock TCU in sport mode previously anyway.

-5% shift pattern: Lozicman recommended this due to different shift points of each gear. However, he also said -8% is great for those that like it aggressive.
Have you tracked the changes in shift pattern between each gear? If so, thoughts? If not, any noticeable differences in track/drag times? Or perhaps the feels?

When shifting, it feels like it jumps into the next gear.

Could you elaborate? Does it feel like a manual tranny shift? Cuz that's what it feels like to me (relative to auto tranny).

Out of curiosity, has anyone ran 1.7 bar and what numbers have you guys gotten? Anything from AWD models would be preferred

Generally the earlier you shift with the 3.3T the faster the times. I haven't tested myself but that what the guys taking their Stingers to the 1/4 mile have determined. If you look at most dyno graphs, the power falls off after 5500 or so and the -8% is 5700.

In terms of the shifting with pressure 3, it just feels aggressive. Many will like that. I prefer stock.

Hello, I recently installed the Lozic ECU into my G70 3.3t. I run a OBD2 scanner and looked at the noncontinuous monitors. I noticed one of the heated exhaust sensor bank 1 sensor 2 is off and failed the test. This sensor has done this every single time I have driven in sport mode. I do not have a modified exhaust. Only mods I have are TCU tune and ECU tune on the G70. Is this high current something I should be worried about on the exhaust sensor?

Thank you

65535 is 2^16-1. It's two bytes with all 1's. It probably means undefined, rather than any valid measurement.

Thank you for the quick response. That could be. Do you think that could mean the heated exhaust sensor is not working properly or at all? Also noticed I have pending codes on the OBD2 scanner since I first installed the Lozic ECU. Did you have these codes as well when you did the Lozic ECU install.
