Lozic ECU + TCU + AWD Tune

I tried the HP by mode and ended up getting it changed to same power all modes. Full disclosure, it was developed at my request and I was the first to use it. I'm sure by this point it has been refined. What I didn't like was the sudden full acceleration when easing into the throttle with the intent of "brisk" acceleration. It was a departure from stock behavior and didn't suite me.

Another thing. I asked for a 1.3Bar tune afterwards as I can only get 91 octane and it's not always that good. Lozic said the default 1.5Bar will work ok with 91 and my logs agreed but I wanted to play it safe. It's plenty of power for me and my 0-60 times didn't change. If I can ever get a chance to do a 1/4 mile I will so what it can do..

Lozic said they can't make an exact stock power curve. They make it by limiting the power. He said it was made for fun. "Don't think too deeply".
It is not a function in this ECU, they have arbitrarily limited the power. Not sure how, but maybe nothing has changed? Dyno graph below. In a perfect world it would be nice to have Comfort Mode a 91oct tune and Sport a 93oct tune.

The global supply chain and getting through customs is a mess. Some ports closed, transferred elsewhere, then getting to customs makes them backed up a lot! Maybe I should get my order in soon!

I think I plan to do the below for my 2019 G70 3.3T AWD (ECU Tune first)....would anyone change anything?

I'm also trying to determine if I limit HP in certain modes...
  • ECO = STOCK
  • COMFORT = 347ps
  • SPORT = 428ps
That's the setup I have. I believe eco is a touch lower tan stock. I did think it was a touch jerky in the beginning but then remove my pedal tuner and I think now it's perfect. As Slip said I believe Lozic refined it.

Do you know if power falling off toward redline is due to stock midpipes vs aftermarket or if turbos have just run out of juice? Apples and oranges, but I think the JB4 curve is a bit different, and power doesn’t seem to dip as much towards redline. Peak power seems to be achieved sooner with this ECU tune, so may just a trade off. I’m hoping to get this tune as well as I’m not a fan of piggybacks, but wondering if an aftermarket midpipe would produce a flatter hp/tq curve and if it would be worth the cost, especially since I live in Cali.

Am anyone in Canada talk about how the car feels and times run on 91?

Just a heads up folks I just had Terry review some of my logs from the lozic tune. I am running 93 plus 32oz of boostane professional and its not enough. Screenshot_20210505-194328_Gmail.webpScreenshot_20210505-194339_Gmail.webp

Post your logs here. The tune might be aggressive with pump gas alone.

What did you ask for in the options sheet?

I only went with what lozic reccomend the 91 with 1.5 bar I didn't change anything from the generic order sheet.

Do you have the csv file? From that graph, your timing corrections were up to -10 which is not good.

That is really odd. I originally got that same tune and Terry checked my logs and said, let's add 1-2 psi of boost! Ignition looked really good.

Why aren't they using dhl flat rate boxes? Much faster ship time and they do their own customs

I wonder if there changes in atmosphere or air temp from one side of the planet to the other that need to be taken in to account for timing.

Looks like I got it after I saved it to my drive first. Around line 90 I do a 0-93 mph pull. Terry told me to either go back to my stock ecu with jb4 or not got WOT until my cpi is installed.

I'm pretty sure Lozic uses the stock timing. Boost in the log isn't that high... (where we see the ignition being pulled) it's not making sense. What plugs do you have where is your fuel from?

Boost peaked at 24?! Your timing is awful. What’s your ambient temperature during these runs? iat climbed at 107. I would not run on this tune.

Try log map 0 with 91 or 93.
